Bumpin Buffalo Bar and Grill is a Great place for food and viewing your favorite sports. The sandwiches are very good. The buffalo burger is worth a try. There is a small loft area for small groups with 3 TVs. Staff was outstanding as they let us stay past closing, while they cleaned up the bar, so we could watch... More

After a drive by Mount Rushmore and a little shopping in Hill City, we stopped at Bumpin Buffalo for lunch. I had a three-cheese buffalo burger, which was the special of the day. I've tried many buffalo burgers across Colorado and South Dakota, and this was the best of them all. It was grilled to a perfect medium rare, nicely... More

A nice bar located along the main road and offering good beer and efficient service. They have a menu but we did not order anything.

Very friendly staff. Enjoyed sitting at the gold rush era bar sipping a Buffalo brew. Read the history of it on the menu . They don't build bars like that any more- We returned after running the Crazy Horse marathon to claim the free beer they gave runners and down a very tasty burger.

We walked along Main Street looking for places to eat. It was a busy Sunday because it was before the big Sturgis anniversary rally. Some places were closed on Sundays too. We looked at the menu and it seemed interesting so we decided to try. We were given a table at the roof top as the lower levels were full.... More

I was in the area for the Oct. 4, 2015 Run Crazy Horse Marathon, of which Bumpin Buffalo was a sponsor. On marathon day they offered free beer to those runners wearing their bib numbers . I took advantage of that and intended to go back later after I freshened up, but I fell asleep instead. I went back the... More

We thought we would eat here because it is in the heart of town and immerse ourselves in the western theme. The service was really slow and the Buffalo burger we ordered was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Later that night, I got sick. It was also really loud inside.

We always eat here when we are in Hill City. They have the BEST fries ever! The atmosphere is awesome, too! Friendly waiters!
