We recently had lunch at Diamond Lil's. Good food, good service. The memorabilia from many of the movies that Kevin Costner starred in are encased through out the restaurant. It makes for interesting viewing and conversation. The service was very good. We did ask if Mr. Costner ever makes an appearance and the local staff said yes from time to... More

We ate here twice when we were in Deadwood in October 2013 for our wedding/vacation and both times were awesome. Good food and good service! We are from Wisconsin and tried the bison burger for the first time. It was really good. Great place! Great staff through-out the Midnight star casino!!

Diamond Lil's is a very good choice for solid "bar food" and ice cold drinks in this town filled with restaurants that are connected with the Casino scene. Gratefully, this one is not! We stumbled upon Diamond Lil's as we searched Main Street for somewhere to eat. You'll have to look carefully as it is upstairs. The restaurant is decorated... More

I had the JAY COCHRAN’S SUPER BURGER. This was a very close runner up to Mustang Sally's 86 Burger close by in Deadwood. But it was really a marvelous burger. My wife had the Shrimp basket and the ACTUALLY had more Shrimp in the meal than I've seen in uppity fancy restaurants. And, the shrimp were not tiny little pathetic... More

This place was a little hard to find - it is the 2nd floor of the Morningstar Casino. There is a small doorway that leads up a set of stairs, but there is also an elevator in the back of the first floor, as well as another set of stairs. Prices were reasonable - the menu features a range of... More

One of the employees in the casino, Cade, talked us into trying a buffalo burger and it was fantastic. Good service and great views of Kevin Costner's costumes for all his movies. I love the Midnight Star Casino and it may just be my favorite in all of Deadwood. Diamond Lil's is a great place to eat.

We actually ate there twice, food was good and always more than I could finish. Both the servers we had were a little inexperienced but still did a great job.

Enjoyed supper here one night. My wrap was very good but the ingredients kept falling out so I had to pour the dipping sauce on it and then bite. The young man who served us was pleasant and attentive so it was a good experience and a decent meal.

Had dinner here. Not much spent to furnish it. Appears Kevin took "props" from his various movies. Food was fair. I had a Buffalo burger for $12.75 Three dollars more than the regular burger. Couldn't taste the difference. My wife's chicken melt was okay. Drinks were cheap. I can't recommend this place

We stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and were the only 4 people in the restaurant. Our food was very good but thought the portions were a little on the small size for the prices, It was fun to look at all Costner's memorabilia. Was a nice place and would probably try again.
