Neat Costner Memorabilia

We were planning to eat here but the menu in the bar was strictly bar food and the fine dining menu for the upstairs restaurant had choices that were not appealing to our taste that evening. That being said we would have tried the bar menu for a lunch and the fine dining menu some other time. We... read more

This is a cute little casino when you walk in. Love the atmosphere. I would say you must visit but maybe not eat here. Burgers aren't anything special-but the wait staff is very friendly...laid back- but friendly.

Service was friendly and efficient. This was pretty much the laziest food I've ever experienced. I did not visit the kitchen but the food was about as cheap and lazy as I've ever had. Salads were prepackaged, chicken breast the pre-cooked kind you get with grill marks already "inked on". Husband's taco salad was the dinner salad with salsa and... More

The service was amazing. The food? The best I have had in a long time. I had the taco salad and it was delicious. The drinks were a bit expensive but I would recommend them anyways. Only thing that would have made it better was if Kevin Costner himself was there. A+

My son was with so we opted for Diamond Lil's instead of Jake's which was a little too fancy. But Diamond Lil's was great! They have a kids menu and a veggie burger for me (yeah!). Very good food and our server, Tracy, was excellent. She always checked on us. It was a great meal.

Of all the places we ate in Deadwood - this was one of the best (although that isn't saying a lot). It isn't off the charts foodie fantastic but let's face it - it's Deadwood. A ton of Kevin Costner memorabilia which makes it interesting. Burgers were good but those are difficult to really screw up unless you just aren't... More

The restaurant has lots of Kevin Costner memorabilia which is very interesting. We love KC and his films, on the other hand we don't feel the same way about KFC and unfortunately the food in this "restaurant" is on par. It is over priced and of a very poor standard. We had shrivelled, over-done burgers that were upgraded to deluxe,... More

We have been to Deadwood twice now. This is a must stop. Great food and atmosphere. Staff always friendly and helpful. Love the movie stuff all over the dining areas. Place is immaculate. Our new traditional place to stop !

Diamond Lil's is one of two restaurants inside Kevin Costner's Midnight Star Casino. It is the more casual dining experience of the two. The walls were packed with memorabilia from all of Costner's films, including the outfits he wore in two of my favorites: "Wyatt Earp" and "Silverado". We had about a 30-minute wait to be seated; there was a... More

This restaurant and bar along with the casino is owned by Kevin Coster. When dining here you have the opportunity to view many of his costumes and props from his movies. If you are lucky, he just might be there having lunch.
