In here on a Saturday night, ther might be 75 people and three bartenders. When I tried to open a tab with my credit card I was informed it's a "special event" (there are fewer people in here than any other time I've been here) so "there is an ATM in the corner". Great customer service. Guess I'll gamble and... More

We initially wanted to eat at the social club but there was a 45 minute wait so we went here. There was a 15 minute wait. The food wasnt very good and the selection was limited. My bbq pork sandwich was dry and had two large hard chunks of something in it. The pickle that was paper thin was the... More

The bar and the outside seating was very nice. The menu was limited and pricey. (12.00 hamburgers). You can get the same thing around town for 5. I decided to try the mountain oysters for the first time. Well. If you like over cooked potato chips. They were hard and crunchy. They were all stuck together too. 2 hamburgers with... More

First of all, maybe we are just dumb, but we didn't realize upon coming into Deadwood that EVERYTHING is about gambling. You can't eat anywhere decent without weaving through a maze of slots or taking an elevator to find some back room restaurant. So after trying to find a prime rib on a Sunday evening several places, and either being... More

Had a blast at the Bodega bar. The outdoor seating and 2nd floor patio are great. Yancey was great. He's so funny and entertaining, and really greats the crowd going. Will come to hang out again at next year's Sturgis rally.

We always visit the bodega bar when we come to Deadwood during the Sturgis motorcycle rally. The food is good and we l8ve to see Yancey De Veer's show. He is very clever and funny and is a versatile musician with a good mix of original and traditional music in the western style.

I stopped in here for lunch and just had a buffalo burger and an order of mountain oysters. I have had better mountain oysters and the burger was well prepared. Restaurant was very busy due to bike week but once we were seated our waitress did a great job. My friend had a steak and he said it was pretty... More

This place is a blast. Been here quite a few times during bike week. Great place to people watch, until Yancy starts singing and joking around, then all attention is on him. He is great!!! We've only eaten the burgers on the patio, they were great, and the casino is quite nice. Interesting decor. FUN!!!!!
