Great food!

Service was good, but Gary the bartender was great and made the experience fun. The food was a big upgrade from the old gold dust buffet. Highly reccomend the bbq. We are locals and will definitely come back regularly.

I don't usually write reviews, but this was worth my time. I had two really bad experiences in Deadwood. The first was at Tin Lizzies Hampton Inn. The hotel was awesome, but the restaurant was consistently bad...don't bother, even if they give it to you free. The second was here at Mavericks. I was excited because they had BBQ on... More

Deadwood is a tourist trap, plain and simple. Usually food is either ultra pricey, or in the case of gambling towns, pretty cheap. Maverick's was somewhere in the middle price wise. The prices were not very different from what you would pay for similar food at any major chain steakhouse. The atmosphere was fun. It was a sports bar environment... More

Just returned from Deadwood. Had a great meal at Maverick's. Second time I have eaten there and very good both times. Nice staff and nice place. Keep up the good work.

It took our waitress 20 minutes to bring waters and a pop and the alcoholic beverages didn't come until far after our salads arrived. The waitress was inattentive, didn't refill drinks or ask if we were doing alright. When our food FINALLY came, my sirloin was cooked well done with horrible flavor when I ordered it medium, and had a... More

Tonight we ate dinner at Mavericks for the 10-11th time. We were greeted by very friendly employees and escorted to our booth very quickly. We were immediately waited on by several extremely friendly personnel. Our order was taken almost immediately, as we do not drink. We ordered the BBQ ribs and split a full rack or ribs, which is enough... More

Our bartender was very overwhelmed and busy but was very attentive and had a wonderful attitude! We stopped in for a beer and a couple appetizers but it was very busy. Very clean, full menu with awesome options, and hard working staff, and a fully stocked bar. We would go back anytime! Need more bar staff! Overall very good but... More
