A Favorite Local "Go-To"

A great local favorite. Casual atmosphere and good food. From brunch with Bloody Mary's or Mimosas to dinner. They use local whenever possible. Hangover Hashbrowns have been on the menu forever and for good reason! I especially love the salmon salad but have never been disappointed. There is... read more

First impression was a complete, hands down success. Décor is very eclectic and trendy. We arrived around 12:20 or so, and were amazed at the amount of people waiting to get in. There were people everywhere, but nobody seemed to mind the 30 minute wait. It was an experience just sitting on the bench waiting for our names to be... More

We had a wonderful lunch served by a knowledgable and charming waitress--Mikaela. We had a unique BLT wrap with green tomatoes, a roast beef sandwich with homemade blue cheese, and the Asian soup of the day--ginger and sesame,

This is one of the best restaurants in Columbia. There is a reason why it is always packed. Be patient it is worth the wait go browsing next door at the Antique Mall while you wait.

Every trip to Columbia must include breakfast at Café Strudel! Although the wait is quite long, we are always willing to do it. Fresh squeezed juice, smoked salmon on an everything bagel, and the most wonderful Hangover Hash browns I've ever tasted!

Great local restaurant with great food. Known for its popular brunch but I find that the lunch/dinner menu is much better. We follow them on Instagram to see what their daily specials are. We are never disappointed!

This restaurant has pretty tasty food, but nothing spectacular. If you plan on going for breakfast or brunch on a weekend, plan on waiting for at least an hour for a table. We have been for lunch on a weekday, and there was no wait. I do have to say that every time we have eaten here, the wait staff... More

Hate to wait on a table anywhere but I wait at Café Strudel. Menu is awesome and the specials are aptly named. Enjoy brunch although inside dining can get loud if you want to converse. Outdoor deck is great and this time of year wonderful. And I enjoy that people bring their pets - enjoy talking to their dogs sometimes... More

This review gets an poor rating because the food was pretty tasty, but the experience was so lack luster that we won't return. This place has always been bragged about as the best breakfast in Columbia and it is usually very busy. So it has taken us awhile to make it there on a non-weekend day with nothing else on... More
