Been there many times but only for brunch and also drinks and is a mixed bag.It all depends on the waiter.During brunch always running out of menu options. Some wait staff are very attentive and some not so much. That also is true for the hostess to be seated- you need to keep count and watch who arrived before or after you... Had my first date with my fiance at 116. He took me back to propose (actually proposed at home after). Atmosphere, wine and food are fantastic.Very cozy, reasonably priced, not overly pretentious spot across the river.

I have been here on three occasions, once for brunch, once for dinner, and one time just for drinks. The dinner was phenomenal and the specialty drinks are to die for. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive, EXCEPT for the brunch visit. We waited thirty minutes or so to be seated in the extremely cramped and loud dining room. It... More

Great place for brunch or for dinner. Food is always tasty with unusual dishes and combinations of flavors that make each dish memorable. Service is great. It's a quirky, noisy little place but they always make us feel comfortable and cared for. Prices are very reasonable. If you haven't tried it, you are missing one of Columbia's gems.

This is the best restaurant in Columbia - first class food, spectacular service, and friendly atmosphere. The nightly specials are the chef's creations, and they are unusual and always good.

We enjoyed an excellent Sunday brunch at 116. It is smallish and obviously popular, so we waited 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth the wait. There were some usual dishes (steak and eggs) as well as unusual (sweet potato pancakes). All of us enjoyed our food and the price was very reasonable.

My daughter and I ate at 116 last night. I have been there often but moved to Charleston. I always enjoy this restaurant and especially like the specials. The main menu really has not changed much and always has really good salads and pizzas. We ordered 2 specials...a dolmas plate with stuffed grape leaves, peppers, tomatoes, olives and the tomato... We tried this restaurant for the first time for Mother's Day Brunch. The menu sounded great and I had heard nothing but good reviews. We waited for 30 minutes for a table inside a small but quaint restaurant. The food took a while due to the crowd, which was expected, but when it arrived, it was less than good. I... More

Delightful! From the moment we walked in. Kindly greeted by each employee we encountered. Recommendations were on point. Great wine selection. Say outside for the evening with a great downtown Columbbia view. Will definitely be back. A++ :)
