I thought from the reviews we had found a good home cooking, plenty of veggies but not so. The buffet looked pretty good but a lot of shrimp type dishes and I'm not a huge shrimp person so I opted for a meal off the menu instead. I had chicken Alfredo and my hubby had the Cajun seafood Alfredo. They... More

So this is the original version of what Cracker Barrel pretends to be. Good, old fashioned, southern style, country cooking. If you want to eat healthy or are on a diet...you may want to rethink it. But, if you want good fried chicken with all the fixins, this is the place. The lunch buffet is the ticket, I've never ordered... More

I was in a hurry here, so I opted for the buffet. It had down home selections and the deserts were particularly tasty. It took a little while to get a cashier, but it's a good place to grab a Southern meal and go along I-95.

Arrived here with 13 members of our motorcycle club for breakfast. They accommodated us right away, the food and service was very good. We plan on returning some day for their buffet lunch.

We wanted a change from typical road food and saw good reviews - but so disappointed that we wasted our time. We got four drinks with several refills while we waited 45 minutes for our food ordered off the menu (the buffet looked tired and gloppy - should have been a red flag). We looked into the kitchen and waiter... More

Nice little local place but we ordered seafood that was not very good at all. They had an adorable gift shop and it was very close to the hotel.

Food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. Nice change on the road from the usual fast or chain food options.

We stopped in at the Olde House Cafe on our way home from Edisto Beach. We enjoyed some great "home cookin'" at very reasonable prices. My daughter gives the buffet two enthusiastic thumbs up! The service was prompt, efficient, and kind. We have already discussed returning to Olde House next year when we go back to Edisto!
