The buffet rivals anything I've had in a long time. The lovely ladies hostessing and serving were awesome...so friendly...a lost art. And the food was phenominal!

Just 1/2 mile off of I-95 this little gem was a perfect road stop. Those giving a low rating must not appreciate Southern cooking! At 11.00 for the Sunday buffet which included drink, you can't go wrong

We dropped in for lunch, had a variety of dishes, everything was good. They also had a good buffet going, and the food was just great home style eating. Reasonable in cost, definitely recommended.

Ate there 3/15. Restaurant is an unassuming older building.on a main road in town with plenty of parking. We were seated immediately in a booth by the window looking out at the street. The menu had a variety of food but we selected the buffet and salad bar at the bargain price of $10/ea. Beer is not available so had... More

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant. We travel I95 often and have seen many good reviews. Unfortunately I won't be able to review the food because after waiting 20 minutes and watching another table that arrived after us get service, we decided to leave. We were seated and our waitress got our drinks right away. Then I can... More

We typically eat there 2-3 times a month and the food and service is always great. This is good old country cooking 7 days a week.

I don't know about that, but that's what a sign in the foyer says. Stopped at the Olde House Cafe for lunch, hoping to get some good Southern food. I ordered the fried catfish, and it was excellent! Several specialties were offered on the menu, as well as a hot items buffet and a salad bar. Reasonable prices, good food... More

A golden opportunity by the owners is missed at this cafe as all of the breakfast food looked and tasted like it was off the shelf of a grocery store. Nothing was homemade. The butter wasn't even butter (margarine = YUK). The jelly came in little plastic cups. The coffee was not robust and it was too weak. And to... More

Just finished a fantastic meal here and the end of a long driving day. It's not our first stop at this place, but our first for anything but breakfast. We ate the lunch buffet and could not have been happier. The food was perfectly prepared and exemplified "home southern cooking". I ate pulley bone fried chicken, black eyed peas, mac... More
