This restaurant will be on our "never return" list. The best thing either I or my spouse could say was that we got full. How this restaurant is rated #1 is beyond belief.

I liked this place but the service was not as great as what other people rave about. I thought the food was good but maybe I caught the service on an off day.

Fellow Traveler's, this is a country food place. Good food at a great value and super-friendly service it is not some cheesy chain-place with ferns and brass, got it? I have dined here many times over the year's doing the I-95 Migration. In fact I'll be staying at the Hampton Inn (just down the street, ask for Tony) and having... More

We make sure we stop here whenever we are traveling. The food is good and consistently "country"! It's the real thing. Also, there is a gas station down the street ( Sorry I forget the name ), that sells gas with no ethanol. It ups my mileage around 100 miles per tank. Walterboro is a good stop.

I agree with previous reviews...buffet looked like canned veggies. We ordered from menu. Cheeseburger was $5 and was very generous....cooked to order and generous fixins. A good local place...everyone seemed to know each other!

Ordered hamburger steak med well with grilled onions and gravy. Order came out mid rare with burnt onions, baked tater from last year and stale roll. Sent meal back to kitchen with request to hold the onions and place gravy on side. Entrée came back scorched over cooked with now cold old tater. Wish I had country buffet.

My daughter and son in law live near Walterboro and took us here to eat. Great food! Home cookin'! We will definitely be eating here anytime we over this way visiting. Only an hour's drive from several beaches as well.

We choose this restaurant based on other reviews and it's the first time we've ever disagreed. It was a friendly enough place where most of the patrons seemed to be locals who ate here often. The food was barely decent and the buffet looked unappealing. The salad bar was one of the worst we've seen. Skip this and go to... More

We try our best to time our trips to Charleston so that we pass by the Olde House Cafe around lunch time.

The buffet rivals anything I've had in a long time. The lovely ladies hostessing and serving were awesome...so friendly...a lost art. And the food was phenominal!
