decent food at a fair price. This was our 3rd visit here. The food was OK. The upkeep on this building needs some attention. The bathroom was clean

Our group visited on a Saturday evening, lured by the $2-Off in the coupon book. The buffet does have a large quantity of items (although I am sure they do not add to the "120 Items" that they advertise...). I stuck to the chicken dishes, as it is hard to mess that up. But even those tasted funny and definitely... More

i wasn't crazy about the food or the atmosphere, but the other 5 people in my party enjoyed it very much. its a typical china buffet with alot to choose from, but i didnt really like anything. the steamed dumplings were not good, the spring rolls were cold. An OK dining experience, but for $6.99, I guess I can't complain.

We ate at the New China Buffet on a Tuesday evening, and there were not many people there when we arrived (should have been our first clue as to the experience we would have). They boast 120+ items on their buffet, but my family of 4 only tried about 10. And those 10 tasted like they have been sitting out... More

We came off a 16 hour drive to the Myrtle Beach area only to find our rental wasn't ready, so we stopped in at New China Buffet in Surfside for lunch. We weren't expecting much, but it was packed on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. We could see why. For $6.95 per person (with hot tea for free) the food... More

There's something about this place that makes it better than the average Chinese buffet. While other Chinese buffets are adding sushi chefs and hibachi grills and other things to entice customers (New China has passable sushi selection), New China has stuck to perfecting the basics, with a twist. They have Chinese tacos. Tacos, man! Something about them

The food barely qualifies as ok. The cost was ridiculous for the quality of the food. They told me 11 & under was children's prices when we walked in, but when we paid they were the cost of adults. They blamed they "made a mistake". Ridiculous! Their "mistake" cost me double for 3 kids that didn't hardly eat anything.

If it's a Buffet and not busy...LEAVE ! My golf buddies and I were looking for a place to eat. We picked this place. Now, I try to be honest and at the same time truthful....sometimes hard. This is unquestionably the worst buffet I have ever visited. As the title suggests,If it's a Buffet and not busy then go elsewhere.... More

Surprisingly good for AYCE buffet. Terrific selection, fresh, hot, tasty. For $6.95 ($6.25 Senior) you cannot beat the value. Service (drink refills, plate clearing) is superb and courteous. You can get your money's worth on fried shrimp alone. Sesame Chicken very good. "Devil Crab" not so great but here are many other choices. Steamed dumplings outstanding.

I think I mixed up my review of the other one! One is in Surf side and it's 120 items. This review is for it: If you check us out, you'll see we hit every China Buffet every where we visit because Bill, our main chef and I'm the dishwasher, says he can't cook Szechwan beef, egg drop soup or...
