Had a very enjoyable visit here. Most of the food is fried, but it wasn't that heavy and the portions were very generous for a reasonable rate. Loved the old fashioned decor inside as well. No frills place, but pretty small. I'd try to go at less busy times, but this is a definite stop on our next visit to... More

Good food at reasonable prices. Had to eat there more than once. Best popcorn shrimp! Lunch, dinner, both!

Neat small place across the street from the beach. Seemed to be on the smaller side so I bet it fills up quick during the peak season. It ended up just being average for me. First off our waitress was nice but we had to ask for everything twice. drinks, crayons, ketchup and napkins. Second they were out of a... More

Great restaurant right across from Surfside Beach. Great seafood and southern favorites like Fried Green Tomatoes and catfish. With salads, baskets and sandwiches as well as pricier platters there is something for everyone. The Famous Flounder sandwich was very good and had a Fried Green Tomato on it. The creek shrimp was also a hit. Go early, they get busy... More

Bubba's is exactly what it seems -- a fine little place to go get a basket of shrimp or fish and a reasonably priced cocktail. Across the street from the beach, it's an easy place to get to -- with parking. Everyone here is friendly and down home. Nothing fancy - but they don't claim to be.

We went here on a weeknight in August. Had no problem getting a table (around 6:30 pm), but when we left, there was a line waiting. Atmosphere was fun - very casual place for families. Pretty noisy, built for tourists. Food was mixed. One in our party had the grouper fingers and thought they were excellent. I had the mahi... More

We've been vacationing in Myrtle Beach since 1986 so we feel like we're part time residents at this point. Bubba's has been there for a while but we never actually got around to eating there until this past summer. We took advantage of the free pickle nickels appetizer coupon. The food was good, not 5-star by any means, but good.... More
