Eat here if you don't like to taste your food. Salsa tasted like catsup. Tacos were too greasy. Welcome to the plate of hard refried beans! Yum yum! Will never eat here again.

I was now more than 5 times at Yucatan's with my husband and always loved it. The fajitas are our favorite. Their margaritas are delicious and a great deal.

Cheap decor, slow service, passable but not good food. I would not eat here again. I was only in Sumter one night, but if this passes for one of the best places in town, I hope I don't return.

Good location in town, good prices. Try the nachos with cheese & steak!!! Everything was great, but the nachos, awesome!

Friendly staff. Worst steaks fajitas I have ever had though. No flavor and steaks were not grilled but seemed sautéed. Onions and bell peppers were very over cooked. Food cold when came out. Don't know how they received 4 stars.

Repeat customer. Always pleased with service and food. Facility is clean, staff is friendly, and food delivered quickly. Prices are well within reasonable for all entries and specials. Definitely an enjoyable experience.

Good service, friendly staff...tamale left much to be desired. I was impressed by the wide variety offered on the menu, and wished I'd had one of the more unique dishes. My friend had the shrimp/mixed fajitas, which looked and smelled great. May well be the best Mexican food in town, but it's not exceptional.

The staff was friendly food was average. Of course being from Texas I am a little picky about my Mexican. Service was fairly quick so if you just want an average sit down Mexican with good service this is the place

My favorite place to eat Mexican food in Sumter. The molcajete is served in a stone bowl with tortilla shells and is the best item on the rather large menu. There is generally a wait around noon on Sunday and often in the evening but worth it.

We stopped in Sumter on our way back from Florida to Virginia. Felt like Mexican for dinner and had to choose between Yucatan and Mariachi's. Both had good reviews, but Yucatan was about a mile closer to our hotel. We made a good choice. The place was clean, service was friendly, the food was tasty and quick to the table.... More
