My wife and I have eaten here several times. Many great sandwiches to choose from with friendly wait staff.

This place is really a deli at lunch, and a restaurant for dinner. Inside seating is limited; outside seating is a good option. The lunch menu is sandwiches, soup, and a few specials. The food is good quality, made fresh. The options get a bit more extensive at dinner, and the food is fresh, imaginative, and well prepared.

I went there today with my 2yr old for a quick lunch, and thats what I got! The menu was diverse when it came to the sandwiches and salads. I had an original "The Club" and some handcrafted Lemonade and it was great! One of the best sandwiches ive had in a long time

Great service, unique and tasty sandwiches, great atmosphere, definitely coming back soon. Other restaurants just can't compete, and I have eaten everywhere

Returned here for breakfast with a large group. They did a superb job of waiting on us and accomodating our requests. Waitress was excellent. Food came out in a reasonable time and everyone was happy with the quality of their selections. Meals come with two sides and are a large amount of food. The fruit side was fresh and good.... More

Converse Deli is one of my favorite stops while in Spartanburg. Their brunch on the weekends is fantastic, and their many lunch options are always tasty. I've even been for dinner before -- the feel is slightly more upscale in the evenings, and the menu is to die for! You won't be disappointed no matter what you order!

Sure you can get one of many deli sandwiches on the menu but this cafe also has other delicious entrees. If you go for dinner, there are several fish choices.
