... and Cuban-inspired food. My Puerto Rican girlfriend swears by its authenticity. GREAT mango & papaya licuados. Scrumptious guava and coconut cakes. Shrimp and chicken dishes of varying spiciness. I *love* the various versions of rice (white and yellow) and beans. Nothing negative to report!

Combined Franci E and Jack S recommendations to enjoy the Cuban sandwich and the mango shake. Both were wonderful. However I was a little jealous of my friend's plate. He had the Picadillo, yellow rice and beans and a beef tamale. I had never had a Cuban sandwich before, so had to go with that craving. Will look to expand... More

If you are looking for a ritzy place, this isn't it. If you want 100% authentic Cuban fare that you could put up against places in Miami and Ybor City in Tampa, then this is where you want to go. Everything is fresh and real. The menu is a simple meat and three format (genius move by the owner to... More

I love this place. I eat here every time I visit Spartanburg. My favorite is the Cuban Sandwich. Delicious!

I ate here with my family tonight, and was impressed with the quality of the food. This is the best I have ever had, definitely my new favorite! I had the Picadillo, black beans, rice, and Corn Guido, and a mango "shake". It was all fantastic! Tried the Spicy Pork and tamale from my wife's plate. Excellent! I see why... More

What a surprise!! Great food, great service, at very good prices. It has a very simple but awesome menu, great Cuban sandwich, or meat and 3 if you prefer. TIP: Do not skip desert and order the FLAN!!

I have a bachelors in culinary arts, have been in the food service industry for 10 years, and my family are foodies 100%. So trust me when I say that even though I love most foods, I am also pretty critical given my background. Most restaurants I go to, I disappointingly discover that I could have done better for half... More

I put off going here because of the slightly weird location. Glad I finally went. Have been back several times since.

The food is amazing! I have a craving for the picadillo(I explain it as a Cuban's sloppy joe), yellow rice, black beans, ripe plantains, and a side of buttered bread on a weekly basis for the past three years. I do not recommend large groups eating here unless you call ahead and make sure they have room. It is an... More

We were visiting NC and SC on a business trip for my husband and I was a tag-along. This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It was easily a top-10-of-my-life meal. Our food appeared on modest dishes, on a modest table, in a modest restaurant, from a modest cook/waiter/owner, BUT the food was anything BUT modest. Flavorful is an understatement. Not overdone,...
