Stopped here on our way from the Smoky Mountains to the Atlantic coast. The soft pretzels were to die for and the service was great. My wife tried to be adventurous and order lieberkase, it was kind of a spam on a bun, interesting, but not the best. I stuck with the pretzels and the Luciano sandwich and both were... More

We visited for lunch and enjoyed it very much. This is authentic German style cooking. The service was very good even at a busy lunch time, and they had a fairly good variety of things to try. They even offered my husband a free sample to ensure he would like what he was ordering. A little pricey, but not so... More

This little German deli makes the best Reuben on Rye anywhere! I've frequented this jewel for over 10 years. It's a great place to get a quality lunch - and don't forget to try the Cherry Crumb Pie for dessert - if you can find a place for it after the tender corned beef topped with kraut.

Excellent lunch. Like eating at your german grandmothers! A small store as well with german candy and beer. Usually crowded but worth it!

We read about this deli online and was well off Interstate 26 but thought we'd give it a try (we are on our way home to Chicagoland from Savannah). Food was outstanding! Service excellent! We even purchased food to go. Well worth the trip!

I've eaten here a few times and took my husband for his first visit, which did not disappoint. Their breads and meats are excellent and don't walk away without a from -scratch pretzel! The service is always exceptional, the woman who waited on us yesterday was so warm, friendly and outgoing. The work ethic of the entire staff is outstanding,... More

Tried it out with mom and grandmother. Soup and Bavarian pretzel were wonderful. Mom said Reuben was excellent and better than any other ordered in a restaurant.

It's worth the trip from downtown. The place is small but clean. Nothing fancy inside but it's bright and the people are friendly. The food is tasty and made as you wait. There are several good delis in town and this may be the best. I'll go back again but I won't make it a special trip.

Sweet little delicatessen! Yes, the lunches are wonderful. The chef salad is very novel (go with the dill dressing) and delicious. Don't forget the tea. I'd be wiling to bet you've never had any like it. Black Forest ham is top notch. Order it by the pound, and take it home mit you.
