Although the owners and staff here are very friendly, it doesn't make up for the disappointing lunch we had---Rueben with almost burnt bread, overly salty leberkase and skimpy chef salad. Maybe they were having a bad day but just couldn't see why everyone on TA was raving about this place. I am half German and maybe my expectations were too high... More

The food here is authentic and delicious. The Apple Strudel and the Cherry Crumb Cake is homemade and it is truly what a dessert should be, delightfully sweet without being to sugary. We always enjoy the potato salad and the sauerkraut. Many wonderful sausages and sandwiches. A one of a kind must go eatery in Spartanburg. Not to be overlooked... More

Definitely not disappointed! Can't believe we didn't know this place was here. Sweet tea isn't southern but delicious nonetheless. My husband is the ultimate potato salad critic and he said it was the best he ever had. I foresee many lunches here in our future!

Stopped in on way to sunset beach ,SC...( a BIT out of the way... But worth every mile) owner hannelore and daughter Christine were great again. We got our fix and a great conversation with both. Lunch meats were fresh and the cakes delicious... We plan on stopping there again on our annual trip!!?

Having lived in Germany for 10 years, I'm always looking for good German food and the Deli Korner does not disappoint. It's not large in size but big in atmosphere and authenticity. My Nurnberger Bratwurst with potato salad were just as I remember them (realize the Nurnberger bratwurst is a little smaller than a normal brat). I also had some... More

Stopped here on our way from the Smoky Mountains to the Atlantic coast. The soft pretzels were to die for and the service was great. My wife tried to be adventurous and order lieberkase, it was kind of a spam on a bun, interesting, but not the best. I stuck with the pretzels and the Luciano sandwich and both were... More

We visited for lunch and enjoyed it very much. This is authentic German style cooking. The service was very good even at a busy lunch time, and they had a fairly good variety of things to try. They even offered my husband a free sample to ensure he would like what he was ordering. A little pricey, but not so... More
