Always good

Great family owned and run restaurant. Great homemade guacamole and queso dip. Always a friendly staff and clean tables. Well worth stopping in for a bite

Wonderful place to eat and share good times with family! I have never complained about any meal here! And the flan for dessert is excellent!

If you want typical Mexican food, don't go here. My food was excellent every time I've gone. I have gad the raspberry chipotle chicken and tamarind chicken. Both were excellent! The rice was kind of bland. My dad got a chile rellenos. It seemed to be made with a dried rather than fresh pepper.

Went there for celebratory lunch. They were out of three things we really wanted. We were asked to pay for chips and refills on iced tea. Place still pretty but chairs hard as rocks to sit on. Maybe new ownership needed?

I wasnt really impressed with this restaurant. The food was decent but I've had better Mexican food at other restaurants in town. The service was really slow as well. This was the second time we've been and doubt we'll go back.

We were just at Anita's last week on11/10 and the restaurant was full. We still had excellent service, including a visit by Anita herself to make certain we were satisfied with our entrees. The chips were fresh, the cilantro in the salsa is special, but we LOVE the jalapeño bean dip! A variety of entrees were ordered and loved, my... More

If you have high expectations for good, moderately priced food, dine at Anita's. Their salsa is fresh made and comes mild or hot. But for extra hot sauce, ask for their special sauce made on site. Sweet after effect after the burn dies down. Carnitas is my all time favorite dish followed by the shredded beef flautas. Black beans cooked... More

Can't take anything away from Anita's, but since moving back to Simpsonville last year, we discovered Papas and Beer and are hooked. Being able to walk there is a factor as well, but having been to Mexico a couple of times, P&B feels more authentic.

Very disappointed in the quality and service. Nothing authentic about the food and the price was too high for what we received. Will not be going back.
