No alcohol served on sundays here. That's fine. Being out of coleslaw for fish and chips, no cocktail sauce not fine. When asked to bring more carrots for hit wings was told they were running low and we couldn't have anymore. Waitress was nice but...the restaurant being out of so much with no apologies was awful.More

We did room service ordering what is also served in the restaurant and it was not good. The fish and chips were like two fish sticks with soggy potato chips. They forgot the salad but it was just lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes and 2 slices...of cucumber. The Chicken with toppings had no taste and it's just not worth my time to describe the rest of the dinner. Will stay at the hotel again but skip dinner (breakfast a couple of years ago was fine).More

My wife had the BLT with turkey, and ham wrap. It had a good flavor but the fries that came with it were bland. I had the steak quesadilla that was good sized and tasty. Nothing special but it worked considering it was a Sunday....Also the bar section is not open on Sunday's. The service was very good, but it did take awhile to get our meal and the place was not crowded.More

Good service. Bland food. Limited choices. If I wasn't staying at the Inn I would not have use the restaurant. After one meal I certainly did not go back.

So nice to have a restaurant right in the hotel you are staying at. After a long day of travel, it's nice to relax at the bar and then have a quiet meal. Sharon (bartender) is delightful and makes everyone feel welcome. Drinks are good....Service exceptional. Meal was nice -- I had Sharon's off-menu recommendation of the Southern Fried Chicken and it was very good. The next morning I had their French Toast for breakfast. Service was just as good. Food was cooked perfectly. No complaints for this place. Nothing fancy, just nice service & good food. Menu is limited but that wasn't an issue for me.More

This is the on-site facility of the Santee Holiday Inn. Only had one breakfast, so can't generalize too much from that one experience. Went into cafe at 7:00 am and there was only one other couple having breakfast. That should have told us something. Food...was okay, service was good, prices were fair. Lots of other places in the immediate area that are probably taking business away from Kem's. Bottom line: If you're staying at the Holiday Inn in Santee, you might as well eat there. Just don't go out of your way.More

Perfect southern fried chicken served at Ken's in The Holiday Inn. Not greasy at all with precise seasoning. We devoured our chix after a long drive. Recommend if you are staying at the hotel.

While staying at Holiday Inn in Santee we were able to eat dinner in the attached restaurant. Kem's is open to the hotel lobby but is very private at the same time and is a separate business. We were taken to our table that was...private which was very nice. Booths, tables and bar. Salad bar in the back. They have specials which I decided to try. I got salmon, salad, string beans, roll and baked potato. The salmon was perfectly cooked and baked potato fresh. My husband ordered a club wrap and onion rings. The onion rings were cooked well and crisp. We both had pepsi products. Meal and service very good and it was nice to not have to get back in the car after a long day of travel. Price of meal with lots of food $30. Great value. I would highly recommend this location to eat if you stay or do not stay at this hotel.More

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and ate a late dinner at Kem's. We had rib eye steak - very nicely cooked, a hamburger that was super sized - enough for 2 - the sautéed mushrooms and onions were a nice touch, and quesadillas -...which were fine - not great - just cheese - no salsa or onions in the mix. The service was excellent -Jerome was a gracious server. Kem's was a nice spot - right in the hotel with small HD TV's in the booths - great for watching the Final Four semis!! All in all a great spot to stay on the very long and extremely busy drive home.More

It was nice this hotel had a restaurant on site. It was nice to get a meal after traveling and not go too far. The service was great & very attentive. There were small TV monitors in the booths, so our grandson had something to...do while waiting for our food. It was great!More

Three of us had dinner here and the food was perfect. We had steaks and they were tender, cooked to our order, and delicious. The sides were excellent. We had a new waitress who was okay but not quite used to everything. She was very...pleasant and I'm sure she will improve with time. When in the area we would definitely eat here again. It's located in the Holiday Inn Santee which makes it great if you're staying there and don't want to go out.More
