Don't judge this book by its cover but don't be in a Hurry.

Staying at the Wyndham on Lake Marion, we were looking for something close for dinner as we had been traveling back and forth to Charleston and didn't want to make the drive again. Staying at the Wyndham on Lake Marion, we were looking for something close for dinner as we had been traveling back and forth to Charleston and didn't want to make the drive again. Plus we wanted to help support the local business (not chains). After looking up restaurants in Santee, this place came up #1....but in a gas station plaza??... More

Best Thai food on 95! We were on our way back from Florida, we absolutely love Thai food. My dad is a Chinese chief, so I am very picky. I did a search for Thai places, pulled I and thought "I don't know about this" gave it a try. I'm so glad I did. Best Thai food I ever had.... More

We had lunch here and was pleasantly surprised bu the entrée. Not as spicy as I like but I added some hot sauce and all was fine. We had the pad thai w/green curry sauce. We will come back. A welcome change from camp food. Lol

After a long drive from West Virginia, having left Montréal the day before, we returned for a second year to go and say hello to our friend and chef owner Sam Chareunsouk. We can now confirm that he and his family have remained faithful to their tradition of culinary excellence and warm welcome. My wife was hesitant to order the... More

Soups were enjoyable & we had a decent bottle of wine. Great menu selection. Service rather loosey goosey. My noodle dish/main course was given to me before I finished my soup.

Stopped here on our way south, loved it! Having been to Thailand we can say the food and family who cook and serve it are totally authentic. The real deal. Don't be put off by the location (at the Mobil station!) it is totally worth it. I wish we could bring them home with us.

The Thai food was terrific and the owner/family are EXTREMELY personable. This is a tiny restaurant in a small strip mall near the Hampton Inn. We expected to have BBQ in South Carolina, but we came here because of Tripadvisor reviews. So glad we did!

It was rainy, and we'd traveled for 12 hours in lots of holiday traffic when pulled into Thai House 5 minutes before closing. The chef had gone home, but the remaining staff whipped up some pad Thai and green curry with veggies and shrimp with steaming rice for us. They were interesting and interested college students, who went out of... More

A little gem tucked away in a small strip mall -- well worth the find. The soup was good, and the spring roll was excellent, served cold rather than deep fried. Pad Thai and green curry were both full of flavor. They must not have been able to get eggplant because they subbed in summer squash. Still good but different.... More

My standard for a first visit to a Thai restaurant is Phad Thai. It was excellent at the Thai House. My table mates reported their meals were also above average to excellent. Service was very good. A superb meal for the price.
