Nice Barbecue!!

We recently had dinner at Duke's Barbecue. I really liked the atmosphere and location. The staff was really friendly and the food was really good! I really liked the ribs and fried chicken!! I highly recommend that you try it when in the Ridgeland area!!

This Yankee does not know a lick about southern Bar-b-Q but I now what I like and what I taste. What I did like about this place is that it is totaly a local eatery. You can soak up some southern charm while trying some dishes that may be very foreign to northerners. This is an all you can eat... More

My first time here and it was delicious. Great BBQ and awesome lemonade. My husband and I really enjoyed the food. My only complaint is that they should label the Sauses in bottles at the buffet, I put some spicy vinger stuff on mine thinking it was BBQ Sause but I drowned it in BBQ Sause once I realized it... Excellent chicken and wonderful buffet. Do not let the Outside concern, real nice inside. Just some good old southern classics. Again, all I tried was the chicken and sides. The gizzards were also very good.

At one time Dukes was the place to go for food. The past couple of years the quality of the food has been very disappointing. I will not be going back.

A favorite buffet for the hunters and locals. Typical fried chicken, bbq pork and country style sides. Homemade desserts and good iced tea. Plenty to eat, great price, nothing fancy, but felt to be welcome no matter if you are in your "hunter's wardrobe" or casual attire. I don't think I would want to eat there twice a week because... We did take out as we're touring and have a dog with us. The ribs were tender, however the pulled pork was not. The hash and slaw weren't what we're used to and the hush puppies were good. If from Texas, don't expect comparable BBQ or sides. Not sure what Duke's hash is made from, however in Googling the recipe,... More

Not impressed at all. It was unclear that it was a buffet style restaurant. It was unclear if you seated yourself. When we went through the line, many trays were empty. Won't go back.
