Gem of a find!

It's off the beaten path, on SC Hwy 23 in the charming, and I do mean charming, little town of Ridge Spring, SC, but well worth the drive. The meat and three special of the day varies, but they also feature homemade salads, sandwiches, soups, and desserts. Being we were first timers, they brought... read more

Please take a detour to this wonderful family owned business in a beautiful little town. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with paintings from local artists and 70's themed table and chairs and you get your sweet tea or lemonade in a mason jar (which to me makes the tea taste even better and colder) they also serve a... We have been to Juniper several times and each time has been on a Sunday around lunch time. There is always a nice selection of food, and the price is reasonable. I also love the old fashioned décor. The only bad experience we have had there was last July. The place was full of flies! It was a very hot... More

They have the best corn chowder I have ever eaten. We come here on a regular basis just for the chowder. Have eaten dinner here before too and it was just as amazing as lunch and the transformation of the entire restaurant is something to see for sure!!

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch with an old friend at Juniper Restaurant, Ridge Spring, SC. The restaurant is in a rural town in SC. Had heard it was the place to go from others in Aiken, SC and finally took their advice. Enjoyed a delicious Ruben and one of their signature side dishes, black-eyed pea salad. My friend had a grilled... More

Went there for lunch and had some great food....and better service. First let me say that the French dip.....which was recommended I would avoid. It was an OK sandwich....bread a bit too crunchy....not enough meat and the a jus was way typy to salty. Have the mushroom sandwich with turkey....outstanding. The corn chowder is amazing and the pimento mac and... More

We took a drive for the peach blossoms, and decided to try Junipers as friends had mentioned it to us. We walked back into time when we entered, not knowing what to expect. We ordered at the counter sandwiches and sat down at tables from the 60's. The sandwiches were good, nothing exceptional. The young man who brought our food... More

Was in the area with a client and we decided to eat here. This is a restaurant we have eaten at before but have not reviewed. Today when we arrived there was a long line and many of the tables were full. I knew this was a good sign. The only disappointment was the daily special, the cheeseburger, ran out... More

We drive over 20 miles for date night after a friend suggested this place. We waited over an hour for our fiod. They had one waiter for the restaurant and it is overpriced and the serving size is extremely small. Don't come hungry. We did get two ravioli to eat whIle we waited.

We have been going to Juniper for several years. Lunch is very casual, soups, sandwiches and salad. Everything is good. Dinner, it will blow you away! Chef Brandon out does himself. The corn chowder is delicious. I have tried several times to get that recipe, but he won't give it up. The menu changes quite a bit. They try to... More
