We met up with friends here for lunch and it was great! Very friendly and helpful staff with a cook and kitchen second to none. Down home atmosphere, in a cheerful and wonderful place full of character. The restaurant sits on a Main Street full of very good Antique Stores. Well worth traveling to from surrounding towns or as a... More

Whenever we need a change of pace ,we go to Junipers for a wonderful meal. A family operated restaurant open for lunch daily and dinner Thursday thru Saturday. We go for dinner. The corn chowder is exceptional. The JUNIPER SALAD is the best 1st or 2nd course .A nice selection of small and large plates gives you ample options. They... More

This is family owned and the meals are fresh. You must wait a bit for your food since it is cooked to order, but it is brought to your table. Meanwhile you get your own drinks and can converse. It is a modest restaurant and extremely popular with the locals even though there are other restaurants in this small town;... More

Since it was a somewhat rainy and gloomy day, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at a local restaurant (Juniper) we had heard so much about in a neighboring town (Ridge Spring). Nor really knowing what to expect, other than positive reviews from others who had typically had lunch there, and we were going for dinner with neighbors. Ridge... More

My husband loves their corn chowder, anytime we go out there to eat, we always bring home some for the next day. Eight of us will be going next week to celebrate two birthdays and then to go to get fresh peaches at Titans. What a great way to spend a day in S.C. I have never been disappointed. No... More

Ridge Spring, SC has a upscale dining restaurant at night. During the day the serves sandwiches, but a night it has dressed up dinners with a southern flare.

Great little place in Ridge Spring, SC. Food was excellent and the menu changes weekly. We had pimento cheese mac-n-cheese, flash fried collard greens with BBQ chicken, YUM. Also, spiced shrimp and grits, very good. The most yummy to me was the homemade biscuits and homemade cherry-ginger butter. I asked for seconds and ate that for my dessert. This place... More

Excellent dining in the region. Pork scallopini was especially good and fried chicken breast with fried collards was really something unusual. House salad and corn chowder are hard to beat. Hot biscuits and strawberry basil butter were sublime, as was the lemon cake dessert. Absolutely worth the trip. Can't wait to go back.

I've been a long time customer at Juniper. Last night I couldn't believe what I was served. Ordered the roasted lamb with rosemary garlic jus. What I got look like sliced pot roast from the lizards thicket for $7. The "lamb" was way over well done and tough. The rosemary garlic jus turned out to be plain old brown gravy... More
