Amazing food and Atmosphere!

We were looking for local fare and charm, and we found it! The sweetest people and the most amazing home style food. The chicken rub is perfect, the broccoli casserole is creamy and rich. Everything we tried was just what You need to remember Sunday dinner at Grandma's!

We accidentally came across Front Porch Country Restaurant while traveling to Myrtle Beach for vacation. We pulled into the Zaxby's parking lot across the street and as we were walking in my husband spied Front Porch. We jumped back in the car and headed across the street. The atmosphere is very inviting, just like grandma's dining room. There's an assortment... More

I live locally but had never visited for dinner... my loss. After he had a long travel day, I brought my son in law for supper and he thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue (pulled pork) platter and blackberry cobbler. I opted for the Tuesday special, meatloaf and two sides, and ate almost every bite. Service staff was informative and attentive. Can't... More

Our group of five stopped here for dinner on June 29. Three of us had the dinner special of a meat and two sides--we all got white meat fried chicken and it was terrific. We also tried the fried okra, fried green tomatoes, fried squash, steamed cabbage and cornbread. The two others had BBQ pork sandwiches, fries and coleslaw. We... More

A great place to break away from the monotony of franchised roadside eateries. Simply simple, friendly and finger-lickin' good down home chow. Especially enjoyed the non-greasy fried okra, fried green tomatoes, fried pork chop and, of course, crispy fried chicken. The corn bread alone is worth a visit. An unpretentious place that delivers cordial service and value for money. The... More

We planned our trip north with an overnight in Richburg SC so we could have dinner here. Very reasonable good southern food. $7.99 for choice of meat 2 sides and biscuit or cornbread. The liver and onions was done to perfection. Wide selections of meat and sides. My fried green tomatoes were wonderful. All the staff were extremely attentive to... More

Our family ate here after seeing it on Trip Advisor, & we were so pleased with the food & service! It's one of those rare places where everything on the menu is good & the service was even better. The young ladies waiting on tables checked on us no less than ten times, & not in an annoying manner. The... More

$7.99 for a meat and two sides and biscuit, all homemade! Several regular meat choices, including fried chicken (delish!) and a special of the day. Full menu if you wanted something else. Specials written on a chalkboard. Simple homey atmosphere, lots of regulars it seemed. We were just passing through and happened to notice it off the interstate. They close... More
