This was my first meal after arriving in Beaufort and was sorely disappointed. Most things on the menu are fried or covered in other unnecessary things so I went for the lobster which I thought would be plain. I was wrong. It was covered in seasoning, completely overpowering the taste of the lobster. Then I ordered some vegetables which came... More

Wow. We got there 10 minutes before sunset and were amazed at it's beauty. Located right next to the docked shrimp boat fleet, this restaurant has a lot going for it. Some of the best seafood we have ever had. Would highly recommend this one.

This lively, casual restaurant is known for its fresh seafood, although there are other entrée choices on the menu: steak, chicken, etc. The service is quick and friendly. We had a party of eight, but the server had no problems keeping us well supplied with food and drink. I had the shrimp and grits, which were delicious, although the grits... More

We visited at the recommendation of the clerk at her hotel. The place was packed, but we were seated right away and our food was out to us hot and fresh in no less than 10 minutes after placing our order. The food was delicious!

We tried the fried green tomatoes and they were average. We also shared the flounder and it was fabulous. I am craving it! The Asian sauce was not necessary and the rice side was good.

Located next to the local shrimp dock this restaurant features well prepared local seafood with waterfront view. Oysters on the half shell started the meal. Followed by crab cakes were made with lump crab were excellent. The broiled seafood platter consisted of shrimp, flounder, a deviled crab and several scallops the food was not oily as is often the case... More

At diner time there was a 45 minute wait for our table(party of five) they don't take reservations but they have areas to it outside and a decent bar area with a friendly bartender. They had a nice variety of choices on the menu and as most seafood restaurants, a little pricey, but reasonable. Food ordered in our group was... More

We stopped for dinner on a Sarurday night at 8:00 pm and there was an hour wait. Now we know why. The hostess suggested that we consider appetizers in the bar or outside, and having been on the road for a while we decided faster was better. The food was outstanding - oysters, shrimp, crab cakes, coleslaw and hush puppies... More

Dinner was great. Ate on the patio. View of the boats, water and sunset was enjoyable. Great softshell crab platter. Softshell crab was a whale size portion two on the plate, slaw and cajun rice. Very filling. Waitress was very good. Any question, she did not know, she took the time to find out. Great dinner, great atmosphere an end... More
