The best Sunday brunch buffet ever!

On a lazy Sunday morning, my husband and I decided to visit this place for brunch and we were thrilled to see their brunch buffet menu! Their assorted bread and pastries and worth trying and the best part of the buffet. Their desserts were very yummy too!

First time we ate there the food and service was awesome. Second time the waitresses were surly and it seemed there was some infighting going on. One of the waitresses was making snarky remarks about a group of men eating in the other room. Food was mediocre at best. Place was untidy. Third time we got it to go and... More

We have a small group that eats breakfast once a week in different places in the Clemson area. This is one of our favorites for the quality of the food. However, the waitress seems to hate to see us come in the place. No good morning, or smile, or nice to see you again is ever given, and we tip... More

The food was great- well prepared and tasty. We visited for a special occasion and the cake was delicious. The service might be improved.

Visited the Village Baker during a Saturday morning. It was so much food and everything we tried or just tasted was yummy! I would strongly suggest you come hungry and be prepared for a feast. The shrimp and grits were a delight! If in the area I would go there once again for sure!

The food is decent. The service is lukewarm. Delicious pastries. Interesting atmosphere with murals of various scenes in Pendleton. I would go again for breakfast or light lunch.

This is a step back in time to a real small town village bakery. They make a wide variety of items, all fresh and all delicious. If you want to indulge your sweet tooth, stock up on fresh bread, order a cake or pastry for a special occasion, or just grab a baguette for supper this is the place. Always... More

My husband and I have gone early prior to opening on Sundays for the buffet at this restaurant . It fills up quickly and the food is delicious. The service is superb, even though the staff serves many hungry souls at a time They are very attentive to the needs of their customers. Once you've visited The Village Baker, you'll... More

This place makes a nice baguette, and some of the other food is quite good. However, and this has been consistent over the past say 2 years (including today), service that you can only call rude. Truly rude. Not nice, impatient, lacking in eye-contact, borderline yelling rude. Until that changes I'd stick with the bakery side.
