This is absolutely the best BBQ I have had anywhere. Portions are great. Quality, flavor and tenderness the best. Atmosphere is crowded but the quality of food is why. Worth the wait and you WILL wait!

This was our second trip to the Smokin' Pig. We were visiting Clemson Univ and we were NOT disappointed! The bbq was bar none... Absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection with four tasty sauce choices. The sides are scrumptious. We enjoyed the jalapeño cheese grits the best. The fried okra was cooked to perfection. The rolls seemed homemade. The service was... More

I get the pulled pork sandwich every time and I have never once been disappointed. I would eat there every weekend if I could. Make sure to use ample amounts of sauce. They know how to make amazing BBQ!

I drove past on my way back to hotel and saw a crowd of people. Texted some friends for lunch and low and behold - they were in that very line. I made a U-turn, went back. Got there just in the nick of time to order withe them. I had the Brisket Platter with Sweet potato fries and Fried... More

Bring your appetite and you won't be disappointed. One of the best barbq places anywhere. I had the ribs, brisquet, and pulled pork combination plate. All are very good but the brisquet is the best. The ribs are very meaty. The food tastes fresh. A little pricey for barbq but they do Have a large crowd and don't need to... More

Stopped here on the way back from Beaufort. Actually drove by it but it smelled so good had to hang a U and go back. It was 2:30 but there was still a wait. They give out pagers while you wait to be buzzed but they were out when I got to the host stand. The hostess took my name... More

Went on a Saturday night. I went about 4:30 but still had about a 30 minute wait. I had the brisket and chicken combo for about $15 and it came with two sides - I had the sweet potato fries and the peach cobbler. The chicken was excellent the brisket was good. The cobbler, served with ice cream, was nothing... More

Open only Thurs - Sat. Make plans accordingly. You must eat here. Consider yourself warned. You will wait and they don't skimp on all that makes a BBQ place really good. There is plenty of salt, butter, sugar and whatever it takes to make every bite worth every calorie. Our group strategically planned to order different sides in order to... More

Excellent food!!! Just be prepared to wait a little. There's always a line - but that's a great sign showing how delicious the food is. My favorite BBQ place in Anderson and Pendleton.
