We had driven past the restaurant probably 100 times before actually going in to eat dinner. The waitress was very pleasant and explained everything on the menu. She told us that the Crab Cakes were made daily by the same women and she raved about how good they were. We started with the she crab soup. The soup was very... More

Always a place we stop on each visit... The best hush puppies around. Seafood is always fresh! Always friendly!

Even though we called ahead and were told there was no wait, we sat for over 20 minutes before our order was taken. While waitress was friendly, she was clearly overwhelmed and all the owners wanted to do was walk around chatting. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Several tables nearby complained about slow service or their food once... More

We ate lunch here with a big group and we would definitely go back. Bob the owner spent a lot of time talking to us and making sure we were taken care of. Grouper sandwich not on the menu, but it was delicious. Fish and chips were delicious and not greasy. Hush puppies could have been a meal in themselves.... More

We eat here every time we're on vacation, and this time the whole baby flounder was so exceptional that we had it twice during our stay. All the food is good -- fish, shrimp, you name it. . . but it's not fancy (hush puppies served the minute you sit down, and cole slaw and fries are the standard sides,... More

Want simple, affordable and tasty food? Then this is the place for you! We started with hushpuppies, fried oysters, fried mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. Each was fresh and tasty. The hushpuppies came with a side of honey butter frosting adding the perfect touch. The grouper and flounder were delicious paired with a green salad and rice. Even the landlubber... More

The food was good quality and prices good. Very casual and friendly staff. Owner was circulating around dining room talking with customers. We have definitely found us another regular place to eat in the Litchfield/Pawleys Island area.

We recently dined at the Fish House for the first time, and it is exactly what I would have expected - casual, easy, family-friendly, local beach-feel restaurant. One of us had a traditional seafood dinner with two sides - predictable and fine. The other had an entree salad with shrimp which was disappointing (seemed like a small portion of iceberg... More

Good service, great fresh seafood and lots of atmosphere. Got the summer flounder and shrimp. Can't say more.
