As a local resident, we have eaten at Litchfield Beach fish house four times over the last two years and feel we have given it a fair chance. Each time, our experience has gotten progressively worse. We won't be back. Although their outside decor draws attention, this restaurant is a tourist trap. Compared to other local seafood restaurants, prices are... More

Have been coming to this area for 30 yrs. My brother was visiting us one year and asked if we'd ever been to the "Shark on a Shingle". We had not, but we've been hooked ever since. He raved about it and we finally discovered what a delight this place is for just simple seafood done right. My husband had... More

Every year when we pull in to the beach we check to see when our house will be ready and we meet at the Fish House for Bloody Mary's, beers and great local seafood. The fresh catches are wonderful whether you have it on a bum or plate and the soups are great. I don't know whether they really remember... More

We didn't know where to eat on our first night staying at a local hotel. We usually haunt Myrtle Beach proper (sorry, writing this in October). In any case we tried this place as it looked to have a local flavor and there were cars in the parking lot. Our mistake as we appeared to be their first customers of... More

Good dinner, I don't eat seafood and was able to get a good chicken quesadilla. Great service, polite people. The owner even came around and introduced himself and thanked us for our patronage.

This was not a fancy place, but it wasn't that bad either. I got the mixed grill with flounder, shrimp & scallops and herbed rice and coleslaw. I have to say that the seasoning was just perfect - not too little nor too much. It had a perfect grilled taste. The basket of hush puppies was the best too -... More

We had driven past the restaurant probably 100 times before actually going in to eat dinner. The waitress was very pleasant and explained everything on the menu. She told us that the Crab Cakes were made daily by the same women and she raved about how good they were. We started with the she crab soup. The soup was very... More

Even though we called ahead and were told there was no wait, we sat for over 20 minutes before our order was taken. While waitress was friendly, she was clearly overwhelmed and all the owners wanted to do was walk around chatting. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Several tables nearby complained about slow service or their food once... More

We ate lunch here with a big group and we would definitely go back. Bob the owner spent a lot of time talking to us and making sure we were taken care of. Grouper sandwich not on the menu, but it was delicious. Fish and chips were delicious and not greasy. Hush puppies could have been a meal in themselves.... More
