Just what you expect from the local diner... Good food, great portions and excellent service ! Wonderful local flavor and menu to match. Where the locals meet and coffee is served nonstop for breakfast! Tasty cheese omelette with mushrooms which was huge and had to be taken for leftovers the next day. French toast and soft scrambled eggs were a... More

I don't care where you stay in the Myrtle Beach area you need to take the ride to Pawleys Island and have the best breakfast in the area. The sausage biscuits gravy is an absolute must. Service is great and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is right out of the 50's. The place is small and a bit crowded... More

locals and visitors enjoy the varied meal choices available. the service is very good and the crowded small restaurant is efficient in providing good food. it is an old dated restaurant. the prices are reasonable for the location and the entrees served.

We recently moved nearby and received a Welcome Wagon coupon for this place and stopped for breakfast. Fantastic. Nothing fancy inside; beach diner motif. But the food and service were 1st class . Some unusual items for breakfast that you don't usually see. We had Fried Flounder with grits and stewed tomatoes. Out if this world. Will definitely be back.

Although the grits were excellent, prepared the way I remembered them when I was a kid - creamy and running into my omelet, the rest of the food was just OK, and very salty. My husband's coffee cup had lipstick on it, which was promptly corrected once pointed out. Everything looks a little grimy - from the backs of the... More

Great service and COFFEE. Waffles are first rate. Can't ask for more on the beach. Geniune beach local hang out. Full character of the Low Country. This is a real slice of Americana.

Had the best grits and turkey BLT. My son loved his chicken fried steak. Best sweet tea around. Our waitress, Gigi was great.

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The restaurant stays busy, but service is efficient and food came quickly. The owner is frequently seen busing the tables himself. There were lots of great options for breakfast. I chose the Crabby D, which was crab cakes and eggs on a English muffin. They were well prepared and very inexpensive. The... More

Went here with family for breakfast during our trip to SC. It was crowded, so we thought it would be good. It was hot and uncomfortable, because the air conditioning was set very high, and very noisy and crowded. Food was just OK, nothing spectacular. Bacon did not taste like quality meat. Coffee creamers were left on the table and... More
