Italian diet

After the new year I generally diet for a number of weeks to rid myself the holiday weight gain, surprisingly they satisfy my dietary needs. Good food worth a visit.

Friends who know that I am still looking for good Italian food in this area suggested this restaurant. I know it is popular, but I just don't get it. I had the eggplant parm, supposedly served over angel hair. The eggplant was in a separate small casserole dish. Where to begin. Let's back up to the salad. It has the... More

They are open for lunch and supper, but sgould be known for the best value lunch in town. Several options, that include salad and drink for about 7 bucks! Dinner prices are good too. Try the white pizza or eggplant parm.

Chef David offers unequalled food for the money. He recalled my group of golf buddies dining here a couple of year sago. He had comp'ed us his signature Abbruzzi bread made with tomatoes of the same name. I am a big tomato fan, abd grow my own, but these are the best I have had. He now sells them in... More

This is our favorite Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is upscale, the service excellent, and the menu is delicious. The Abruzzi regional flavors are full and elegant. From the salads to the fresh baked bread, to the wonderful evening entrees, we really enjoy eating here. The seafood Mac and cheese is awesome, and the lasagna very well made. They have really... This is the best place for an amazing lunch. Very reasonably priced and a huge amount of food. I can't decide which I like better the chicken parm or the baked ziti. At $6.95 you can't beat it anywhere. The salad with the gorgonzola dressing is still amazing. The bread is freshly baked and the service has always been wonderful.... More

We enjoyed the food so much at this restaurant that we went back twice and got takeout on our last night! It was very crowded when we were there the first night but the service was great and the food was awesome. We all loved our meals and the owner or Manager brought out an Abruzzi bread app for us... Wonderful, authentic thin crust pizza. The best we had found in the Pawleys area! Crust was excellent & the cheese & sauce were the real thing! Have had a few different entrees before & we held a party here last February. All of our guests complimented the food. This trip we did take out. The pizza was great & reasonably... More
