This location (Chestnut Street) is operated by a family with the last name of Ott. The previous reviewer (bbqman3341) must have this location confused with the Original Earl Dukes BBQ that closed several years ago (it was located on the Charleston Hwy. near the Orangeburg Hwy. Dept.). This Dukes is located nest to the Orangeburg Fire Station, and I can't... more

a sweet mustard sauce that defines south carolina bbq is featured here. the delectable hash is as good as any i've ever tasted. earl duke is legendary for excellent bbq and he hasn't lost his touch here. succulent tender pulled pork piled high on fresh buns with award winning side dishes make duke's bbq the envy of other local franchise... more
