Good Mexican food served fresh and hot at good prices. I love going here. The service is good, the food is fresh and hot. The menu is huge!! I cannot imagine not finding something you want to eat. There are combinations, dinners, and entres. The atmosphere is festive and clean. They do a good job running this place.

Best Mexican food in Orangeburg by far. We have been to San Jose a number of times. From simple enchiladas and burritos to carnitas and tacos de lengua, my wife and I have always enjoyed eating here. The prices are fair and the staff has always been friendly. I do agree with an earlier post that the beer could be... More

We were charged for items we did not order or receive. The atmosphere is chaotic. I have never been back.

Several girlfriends and I get together here every few months to celebrate each of our birthdays. We enjoy talking, meeting new friends, eatting and the margarita's here are one of a kind and the best anywhere around!

I've been going to this restaurant for the past couple of years and the food was great, but to tell the truth, San Jose is not what it used to be... The food is now awful, tasteless and greasy. Maybe a new cook? I don't know, but I know I won't be going back out there. I'll stick to Rosalias...

The atmosphere & food are really good. The beer could have been colder though.

I live in Orangeburg, but after my first visit to this restaurant I y Could tell they didn't appreciate my business at all. So why go back? The manager can't even speak English right, the same goes for the waiters. Not a word of English. As I was finishing my meal, I overheard the manager as he was telling one... More
