Hubby and I stopped here for dinner tonight while traveling. They were very sweet and made a reservation for us. Scott was our waiter and he did a great job! We both loved our meals and don't miss out on their french fries! Way better than any we've ever had! Hubby had the prime rib and loved it. I had... More

A nice atmosphere and the waiter's are the best! The specials are the best pick of the night and much quicker to get to the table. A bar is always a plus if there is a wait time to be seated. This place has the freshest seafood in Orangeburg.

been here many times and have never been disappointed. they have really good food in a quaint atmosphere. the fried oysters are some of the best anywhere and the chicken salad is devine. they also have great sweet potatoe fries. as you can see I pretty much like everything.

This was recommended by a local. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The prime rib was the best that I have ever had. Cooked to perfection. Had the scallops along with it and they were perfect as well. Staff was very pleasant too. A+

Was in Orangeburg on business and had eaten here before and had a marginal experience so I decided to give it another try. I was surprised it wasn't busy since it was a Friday night but I was able to get seated immediately. My waitress was very pleasant and professional. I narrowed my choice down to two items so I... I dined as a single traveler while on business. The space is nice, with candles and fresh flowers on the tables. The menu features many classics and my choice of salmon was well cooked and tasty. However, my dinner was let down by the bad service - the server brought my check even before I was finished with my entrée... More

We made reservations on the way and were greeted & seated promptly when we arrived. Our server Ashley was slow to arrive and obtain our drink orders but she was very pleasant. Service seemed a bit slow for so early on Saturday evening but is was SC tax free weekend so I would imagine there were quite alot of shoppers... More

On a hunch, (parking lot full), we dined at the chestnut grill around 8 PM. The ribs were great, falling off the bone, and only a fork was needed. Good bark and very tender, so good that no sauce was needed even though it came with two different sauces. Licking the bone good! The shrimp were just ok as they... More

I had dinner here about 6 months ago so I decided to give it another try. the restaurant was about half full but it still took almost 10 minutes for the waitress to come to my table. I asked the waitress for suggestions with respect to dinner and she told me she was new and didn't have a preference. I... More

The food continues to be great and we had a terrific server today, Joe T. Very personable. The outside renovations look great, but please, please, replace the decaying and stained ceiling tiles. They distract so much from an, otherwise, great local eatery.
