Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach...
Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

We enjoy sitting in the bar ( or outside if the weather is nice) enjoying the people. And the drinks. I enjoy Irish whiskey- they have a very nice selection so I have been able to sample many. The service has always been good. Food very good.

This hands down was the best dinner we had at the beach this trip. They were so accommodating to the people in our party that had a gluten allergy. We were a party if 13 , one of the few restaurants that were willing to take a reservation. Warm and welcoming to say the least. Great atmosphere. No complaints, every... More

I had always wanted to eat here on vacation in North Myrtle but we somehow didn't make it until this year. What a treat--fabulous service (thanks Ken), wonderful food and gracious hosts. About as close as you can get to a real Irish pub in the U.S. This restaurant is one more reason I want to move to North Myrtle.... More

We visit MB every year and have for years, FLYNNS is a must for our family and tonight was no exception. Always treated like family with warmth hospitality and attentiveness. The owner even recognized us after a year apart...the wings are the best in north Myrtle, cheers to this wonderful tavern.

Having a hard time with rating, I would say 4.5 out of 5.0. Flynn's Irish Tavern was close to our hotel and it had decent reviews so we took the short walk to eat dinner there. We did not visit the bar section, just the restaurant section although the doorway between the two is open. There are almost too many... More

We visited as a large group on the 4th of July and were overly pleased with the wonderful service and staff. Even on the phone they were welcoming and inviting. We brought our four-month old baby and they were extremely accommodating and made us feel like family. The food was excellent - I have a very strict diet and they... More
