Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

Had a late dinner with the family, no wait. Welcoming staff. Great Irish menu and atmosphere. Food was quick and delicious. Definitely will be back.

Both nights the food was great. The homemade potato chips and homemade horsradish dipping sauce was very good. Good enough the owner gave us a complimentary order to take home. I would recommend this place to any one. No wait and resonalble prices.

My husband got the Jamison BBQ Salmon and I got the potato crusted grouper -- both were wonderful. Not every where you can ask for a Smithwicks beer and they have it on tap! Had some live music, would have rather it be the Celtic folksongs than James Taylor and Stevie Nicks....

After reading the reviews in Trip Advisor, our family decided to try Flynn's. We had recently visited Dublin and were excited to have Irish food again. The pros: the atmosphere was family oriented, the service was great, prices were reasonable, and there was no wait. We arrived at 6PM. At 7:30 when we left, it was getting crowded. The cons:... More

We went to Flynns on our last night in myrtle. We chose to sit outside. There were a few other tables filled and only one server. He was a little slow but I think it's because he had to do it all himself and go in and out of the tavern to get the food. We got cheesesticks as an... More

We dined here after several days of barbecue and Basil's pizza (equally great by the way) and I ordered the fish and chips, my husband ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf and everything was so delicious and the atmosphere was just the change of pace we needed. Also the service was great. We were sat right away and the waitress was... More

I had wanted to eat here for some time now, and finally made it this June. Had to try their Reuben, and it was very good. Had bruschetta as an appetizer and it had a liberal amount of feta cheese (could have used just a bit more cilantro). Their house made chips and horseradish dip was something my stepson and... More

Excellent service, excellent food, reasonable prices! Our family of 13 had dinner here our first night of vacation and seriously contemplated going back a second time. You won't be sorry!
