Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach...
Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

Fantastic Food!

We went for dinner and were seated promptly. The atmosphere is casual. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. I had the Reuben, house salad, and grouper planks; My husband had the fish and chips (beer-battered cod). Everything we ate was hot and very tasty.

Went for dinner end of April and had a pleasant experience. Can't speak for the seafood but my roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and my wife's Reuben were delicious. Amazing selection of Irish whiskies if that's your pleasure. Some brought back from Ireland by the owner !! Friendly service in a nice pub setting. Mostly over 50 crowd that... More

The food I ordered was mediocre, and the limited hours were disappointing; however, the bartender was very friendly.

Quick and attentive service from a friendly waiter. Excellent selection of drinks. The shepherds pie was delicious and very reasonable in price. Noise level was not a problem and the bar is separate from the main dining area. Enjoyable experience.

Everything! The price, the Guiness gravy, the waiter. Right down the road from our Hotel, the Best Western Ocean Sands. The price was $10.95 for all you can eat on Monday nights.

Unable to accommodate party of 10 when tables were available. We had to separate to a table of 6 and 4 and they were next to each other but we couldn't put them together. The specialty of the house is extreme rudeness served with a side order of poor service. The food nor the pricing come close to offsetting the... More

We went there after reading the other reviews and could not have been more happy. It was an excellent meal for all 4 of us. Everything I tasted was fresh and house made. The portions were robust. We were greeted in a most friendly manor and treated like we had been there a hundred times before. We left with to-go... More

Our family group decided to try this one night. Ate in the dining room, and were dismayed by the noisy crowd of diners. If you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere, by all means enter, and you'll feel right at home. However, if you're going out with family, where you want to dine and be able to talk and catch... We visit this restaurant every year because of the great food and Pub atmosphere. We enjoy the décor and the menu has a large variety of food and the staff are quite friendly.

Warm, friendly Irish pub with good food and great selection of Irish whiskeys! Mostly over 50 crowd so not a lot of over served college kids. Great experience!
