Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

This is a great Irish Pub. In addition to wonderful food, they have the largest selection of Irish Whisky I have ever seen in a pub. Great pour on the Guinness too.

Place was clean and staff was very nice. We were both dying for fish and chips which we ordered. While it was good, the breading on the fish was as thick as the fish was which made it a little too greasy for me. But it was very tasty and we liked the atmosphere. I would go again and try... More

Went fo Flynn's with a group of 19. The meals were Ok. My bangers and mashed were good, but they could have given me a bit more mashed potatoes. The two people on each side of me ordered the chicken pot pie and is was not good at all. The chicken was not fresh, it tasted like reheated, left over... More

We had been here for drinks before. We decided to take a break from seafood and give this place a try. We started with the Irish potato pan cakes. A bit to cheesy for my tastes. Basically hash browns with cheese on top. What was lacking in the appetizer was made up with our entrée’s. I had the corned beef... More

Smug management ... Difficult to work with, even for locals. My way or highway mentality... Highway for me.. I love supporting the local business, but expect some loyalty in return..

Great food and great service friendly neighborhood atmosphere and close to many condos here at n myrtle. Great having a place like this to walk to! Reuben, blue cheese burger, wings, or shrimp salad. It's hard to choose but whatever it's great! Try them out!

This place has good food and a decent menu. However, the portions could be bigger. My husband ordered the shepards pie and said it was delicious but he was still hungry after his meal. That is the only complaint we have about the place....service and food were good

We ate here twice because we liked the food so much. The corned beef was excellent and so was the fish and chips. It's a nice Irish bar with great food and good prices. If you like Irish food, you will love Flynn's!
