Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

We ate here twice because we liked the food so much. The corned beef was excellent and so was the fish and chips. It's a nice Irish bar with great food and good prices. If you like Irish food, you will love Flynn's!

We ate here twice. I felt relaxed here. Everything we ate was good. The Lemon Pepper Pork Chops, Chicken Pot Pie, Meatloaf, French fries, Open Face Turkey Sandwich, Stuff Crab Mushrooms, Shrimp Alfredo, Burgers and the Irish coffee. Friendly staff!

Place was rated well in Trip Advisor and I agree it was a tasty meal. My wife and I both had bangers and mash couple we went with had chicken pot pie which they raved about. Service was efficient but lacked any personality almost like they could have cared less about us being there. Our waiter never cracked a smile... More

Relaxed atmosphere, just a short walk to the beach. In the summer there is entertainment in the evenings and a lot of people sitting around the outdoor dining area singing along with the music. Prices are reasonable. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday they serve a special of corned beef and cabbage for $10.95. I recently enjoyed the Jameson barbequed chicken for... More

Started with some very poor bread sticks. Some suggest you can tell a lot about a place by their bread. Had the prime rib which was below average at best. Will give them credit that the green beans and potatoes were good. Service not up to par.. no refills on water.

We have been by before and had a drink in the bar. this time we stopped by on Friday night, taking the advice to make a reservation. We had the Potato Encrusted Grouper....FABULOUS!! The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel like part of the family. So, Saturday night, we made reservations AGAIN! Each night, we hung out after... More

Fantastic Irish pub with great service. Everything was good and tasty from the Shepherd's pie to the roast beef (their all you can eat special this night that was so tender), barbecue glazed salmon, fish and chips and hamburger steak. Wonderful and inexpensive. Well worth the price with great pub atmosphere! Enjoy Flynn's Irish Tavern!

We drove by flynns while staying in north myrtle beach. We love Irish food so I pulled it up on trip advisor and it is every bit as good as the reviews! Started with some great shots... The pickle back and pancake breakfast... And of course an Irish car bomb. Fish and chips were great! And the best French fries... More

The food was great, tasty, decent prices for the area, but the kitchen service was kind of slow. We shared the plates around the table as they have so many Irish delights to choose from.

We always go to Flynn's on vacation. It just has the entire package of good homey food... friendly service... lots of locals...and just a great place all around. We usually sit in the bar and enjoy ourselves everytime!
