Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

We always go to Flynn's on vacation. It just has the entire package of good homey food... friendly service... lots of locals...and just a great place all around. We usually sit in the bar and enjoy ourselves everytime!

Never found another place having this shot drink of Jameson Whiskey chased with a shot of straight dill pickle juice. Sounds horrible but it's fun and I've been doing it for 3 years now. LOL As far as the food....that's even better...don't let me steer you wrong with starting off about a shot. This restaurant is always hopping which tells... More

I have been here several times in the past, but have only eaten sandwiches or fish and chip. They were very good -- but not great. Went there today and I ordered the dinner special of prime rib and it was incredibly good. It rivaled some of the best prime rib I have had at expensive steak houses for half... More

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The owner and Staff were very attentive to our children. The owner was so sweet and kind. The food was outstanding and also had a great selection of beer on tap. The service was all around top notch. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and right at home.

After a fun day of shopping and mini-golf, our group of 8 was a bit tired and undecided on where to eat. We stayed in North Myrtle and just didn't want to fight the crowd back down to restaurant row. I recalled the great meal we'd had at Flynn's a few years back and the group decided to give it... More

Was looking forward to visiting this place on our trip. We walked into restaurant and hostess seemed overwhelmed with seating guests. We moved into bar area which was really nice. We sat for a bit and 7 people came in and asked bartender if they could sit and eat there and he said yes. We are still sitting and feel... More

We walked to Flynn's on a Friday night after arriving in town for the weekend. There was no table available for dinner, but we found 2 tables in the bar to accommodate our party of six. We enjoyed our fish n' chips, grouper planks, and corned beef sandwiches, which were served quickly. The bartender was very quick with our drinks--which... More
