First time at Myrtle Beach House of Blues

I had a free ticket to attend the "Local Brews Local Grooves." Although I am not a beer drinker, I had a great time. The food was disappointing, but I tasted 2 nice beers. The music was pretty good and the crowd was fun. I will definitely attend HOB the next time I'm in the area.

I met friends here for dinner this week and we had such a great meal I thought I should share. Most think of House of Blues for its concerts, but these guys have a great menu and a fantastic kitchen that produces outstanding dishes! Coffee even has a connection to Aerosmith! Save room for dessert! HOB, you rock!

"LOCAL BREWS LOCAL GROOVES" REVIEW Let me start off by saying I love HOB. This is the best concert venue around, the restaurant rocks, and their events are usually great. The Hubby and I are avid craft beer fans and go to lots of breweries, beer tastings and craft beer related events all over the country. We are also foodies... More

Our party of eight decided to check out HOB buffet thinking it would certainly be much better than the typical pancake houses in the area. We had never been to a HOB and were wanting to check it out. The decor was crazy cool. The place seemed very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet however left us very dissapointe.... More

We were going to a show next door, and did not know how this worked. We told them we needed to eat quickly, and they were very accomodating. We ordered Shrimp and Grits and Shrimp Jambalaya respectively. The shrimp was cooked to perfection; I despise overcooked fish. My shrimp and grits had a broiled patty of grits with a yummy... More

We love to visit the HOB when we go to Myrtle Beach. Last visit the place was busy because a concert was also scheduled (Bush). The food is always good and priced very fair. The entire staff is outstanding. You won't go wrong eating at HOB. Most nights live music is playing in the restaurant and bar, and it doesn't... More

In season, the sign advertises the breakfast buffet during the week and on Saturday mornings until around 10am or so. On Sunday's they have a "Gospel Brunch" instead which is triple the price but has live entertainment. We always opt for Saturday morning or a morning during the week. It can get crowded in the Summer months at prime breakfast... More

This place is great. First of all, there is so much to see with all the decor. Great looking paintings. Huge wooden elaborate bar. Next was the staff. Bartender was a very nice dude, and made us feel right at home. Manager was great. He bought us a round when I showed him my Blues Brothers tattoo, (if you wonder... More

Overpriced and not much to choose from. The staff was mediocre. For the price, I think some type of entertainment would have been not so much to ask for!

Hi there- I wanted to thank you for attending our Sunday Brunch and for giving us some feedback on your visit. Most Saturday nights they have a murder mystery dinner show. It changes from month to month but has the same actors. The actors are very entertaining and involve the diners in the show. Everyone who guesses who did the crime correctly gets a prize. They serve a three course dinner.
