As a frequent customer of Bombay at the Beach, I was so looking forward to my New Year's Eve meal with friends at the restaurant last evening. When we arrived at 5:30 p.m. there was only one other customer in the restaurant. We sat down (we had a reservation) and our water and one soda was promptly brought to the... More

We had reservations for 7 tonight. Our entire party arrived on time and at the time there was only one other customer in the restaurant. Our orders were taken. While we were waiting other families came and were seated. We waited and waited. Other's that came in after us were being served. Not Us. Finally some of our food came... More

The food here is amazing. Don't be scared by the appearance from the outside. Super lunch buffet. We loved it!

Our family goes here 1 or 2 times whenever we visit the Beach. The food is delicious and staff welcoming. Vegetables jalfrazi, chicken Vindiloo and Chicken Tikka which spinach are some of our favs. If you like spicy order medium or hot. The rice pudding is to die for.

Being local, we frequent this restaurant often. The decor, the location & the horrible black-themed exterior be damned! Food, however, is what it should be... just finger-licking good!! Prakash, the maitre d' / waiter / host is simply amazing when it comes to service. This is a BYOB establishment. I wish the owners would invest in a alcohol license. Until... More

First let me correct the location, this restaurant is in Myrtle Beach, not in North Myrtle Beach. This place has excellent Indian food...as good as what I've had in other Indian restaurants on the East Coast. The atmosphere and decor leave a little bit to be desired, but we came for the food, not the ambiance, or lack of it.... More

My daughter and I each had the lunch buffet here recently. While what food that was available was fairly tasty, we noticed that several of the serving dishes were empty or very nearly empty with essentially just sauces remaining; whatever items that had been in these various sauces were already gone. When someone eventually came from the kitchen to replenish... More

The restaurant offers a good break from the plethora of american and seafood restaurants in North Myrtle beach. Indian food is great any time of the year, in winters you can enjoy the food with some jammy finishing reds, in summer you can pair it with the crisp n light whites. Having said that, the restaurant basic north indian fare... More

Once you have had Bombay's grilled chicken chops, you will never enjoy chicken anywhere else again. Not a bit of fat, tender, smoky. Throw in some palak paneer (made from scratch), nan (fresh from the grill), and a cool lassi and it can't be beat. All this is on the buffet line but you can get it a la cart... More

Don't go here looking for a fancy place to eat. Eat here for excellent Indian Cuisine. We chose the lunch buffet. A wide variety of meat and vegetarian dishes were offered including salad and dessert.
