Come for the food, stay for the hug!

We had a wonderful lunch here, and since we were the only ones there at the time, we were able to converse with the servers and really enjoy ourselves. The hush puppies are amazing, flavorful and moist. I wasn't a fan of the potato salad, as it was a little too peppery for my taste, but the fries... read more

This will be our go-to for seafood in Myrtle. Everything we had was great! The prices and portions were good. Staff is outgoing and welcoming! We loved it!

Was in Myrtle for three days ate here twice. Great food, cold beer, friendly staff. Nuff Said. Drove by every restaurant in Merrell's Inlet just to go back here to eat.

I just brought home carryout from this place. The large seafood platter only filled one regular carryout box. I guess maybe the dine in portions might be bigger. So the total was $22 andI have to say that I have never paid this kind of price for less food. We were informed by the hostess that the cocktail sauce was... More

We are a family of 5 (6 years old, 5 year old, 1 year old), and we were looking for local fare our first day at Myrtle. To set the tone, we had been driving all day, had some hungry kids, who were grouchy. We ordered the she crab soup (yum!), cheese sticks, and hush puppies for starters (not the... More

The first night we got in town we wanted to eat here based on the reviews, but when we arrived they were already closed (I think it was around 9). So the second night we made a second attempt and I'm so glad we did! I love to cook from scratch, so I can appreciate restaurants who make good quality... More

A tiny place in North Myrtle but one of the very best. The cole slaw, potato salad and other sides were awesome. I could have made a meal out of the hush puppies.my wife and both got sincere hugs on the way out! I give this place my highest recommendation!

Great little place with a "homey" feel. The waitresses are nice and treat you like family. Great fish and shrimp - seems very fresh. Hush puppies yummy. The crab soup was very good. Key lime pie for dessert is delicious!

My wife and I have visited Good Fellas Seafood Hut & Bar numerous times over the past few years and have taken friends with us several times. Well, all good things eventually come to an end and our recent visit will be our last. The restaurant apparently decided to fix what wasn't broken and now it is. The menu has... More
