I have been here twice so far, and BOTH times ordered the BEST western omelette I have ever had. It is so thin, perfect, not greasy or "heavy" it has just the right amount of everything. The Shack is by far my favorite place to eat in North Myrtle! <3 I love how cute and quaint the atmosphere is. The... More

There is a parking lot out front, but it can fill up quickly. There is more parking behind the restaurant off of Hill St. The exterior doesn't look like much, but some of the best places to eat don't. It was very busy when we went inside, but it's much larger than it looks from the outside. We were seated... More

Went with friends on motorcycles. It was crowded with all the locals. They had really good sweet hushpuppies with honey butter. The food was great country cooking. Wait staff really friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Prices were far and quick to get the food to the table.

We ate here while vacationing in North Myrtle Beach. My father said they served the best grits he had ever eaten in a restaurant! The parking lot was packed but we didn't have to wait for a table. Service was excellent, food was delicious. Our fellow diners were all friendly. We will definitely return the next time we are in... More

Awesome food. Cooked just right. It is a place I would say that you must eat there. I will rest there again the next time I visit.

The breakfast is the best we have found in the area! Everything was prepared exactly to our order and was delicious. The service was excellent in every aspect. The prices were very reasonable. We will be returning for more!!!!

As semi-Cherry Grove locals, The Shack is our go to place when you can't decide on another place. Everything they do is reliably good. It's hard to mess up breakfast and we've never had a bad one at The Shack, where the eggs over light are reliably runny and the grits really are better than most. Lunch for us at... More

Went here on the recommendation of my of my friends. I was not impressed. The price was all right (not expensive) but the food could have been better. If you are going to North Myrtle Beach, pretend you went here and find another place to enjoy.
