The seafood is great and for those wanting other fare, this is a great choice. We had seafood, steaks, and chicken at our table and everyone was very satisfied. I have four dining favorites in North MB and this is number one.

Went for breakfast and it was a typical diner experience - with a good breakfast and a friendly fast service. Would go back again.

We visited this restaurant after seeing an ad in one of the local magazines. The food was hot, tasty and plenty of it. I ordered the seafood platter and took half of it home for the next day. The fried flounder was a large piece and the oysters were very good also. Service was quick and friendly. Will go back... More

After a 30 minute wait we were seated and waited on promptly. The onion rings are amazing. I had shrimp and grits which I have never had before. It seemed a little bland. One ordered a steak, sirloin I think, and it was very tough. The scallops and shrimp were amazing and the clam strips were good. We love the... More

Since finding the Shack 2 years ago, it has become a regular stop for us each returning trip. Considering we never normally go anywhere twice, this is saying a lot. We have to return at LEAST 3 times per trip to cover all of our favorite items on breakfast alone! The service is fast and friendly, meals are HUGE, hot... More

Stopped here on the way home from the beach. Service was great and our food came out really fast. Everything was pretty cheap too. You got a lot for your money. The grits were good, pancakes were average, coffee was average. Typical MB breakfast place. Apparently their biscuits are pretty good. No complaints-- it was clean, and tasted good-- but... More

We had the shrimp and grits - outstanding; Tidewater with grilled shrimp and scallops; flounder sandwich (without bread). Everything was great. The hush puppies were tasty and it was accompanied with honey butter. The servings were large and the price was excellent. Go early as it fills up quickly. It appears to be a local favorite. The hostess, the waitress,... More
