A local recommended Captain Poo's and we were not disappointed. I ordered crab legs and they were fresh and juicy and delicious! We sat at the bar and watched football while a guy played Jack Johnson and Jimmy Buffet stylus music on a guitar. Relaxed atmosphere. Worth the drive up the beach.

Wow-what a surprise! Grilled crab cakes were amazing! Almost all crab meat, grilled to perfection, generous serving. Shrimp was great, flounder too! Only drawback was outside seating in bar only! There were some very drunk obnoxious folks and we had children with us. This was Monday before 8:00. Yikes!

We have to get their early to get a seat! The lunch specials are awesome! Their fish special on Friday is exceptional and the tea is included in the price! The place the locals go!

What a great find. Although the inside part of the restaurant is poorly lit and in need of updating it is more then set off by the outside seating. The restuarant sits on the intercoastal and there are several picnic tables with umbrellas to sit at. The ourside bar area is big enought to easily fit a large group. The... More

Let me begin by letting you know this restaurant is not fancy. A dive bar with awesome food is what you get. Portions are large, fish is fresh. Flounder sandwich was huge and flavorful. Oysters and steamed shrimp were delicious. Friendly and efficient wait staff.

We had never even heard or seen this place, but we were down at the beach & my husband has family that lives down there, They told us about going here, that it was a great place for lunch. Both myself and my husband had a burger, it was great, it was a hand patted burger, and it was really... More

I went for the trivia night last weekend with about four friends thinking it would be fun. First: It was under staffed so badly to the point I had to get up twice to get everyones drink refilled and ask for napkins, straws, and things we asked for 20 minutes ago. Second: We did not get any of our food... More

Flounder was so over cooked it was more like straw. The coleslaw was rancid. Our unfriendly waitress brought me a warm beer in a bottle. She never ONCE came back to our table to ask if we needed anything. I had to go to the bar for a glass then again for silverware.

The first time, i was curious because of the name. Pleasantly surprised, on the inter-coastal waterway, very causal and friendly staff. Service at time a little slow and the food well is from good bar food to some fun specials. It is a place we like to bring new friends who have never been for just a laid back place... More
