Casual place on the waterway, good food, great location if you like something a little off the main drag...

This "joint" is a fun stay and really good food. It is a little too loud for my taste, but I still recommend it very highly. There is a bar and dining area, plus an outdoor bar area. And tables right out on the waterway if weather permits. This is NOT fine dining. This is one of those local... read more

Captain Poo's was a diamond in the rough sea food restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Shrimp anf Wings were the best, Lots to eat and entertainment to boot. Sorry to see it close

This was our favorite place at the beach!! We are so sad it has closed!! We would leave Virginia in time to get to Captain Poo's for lunch on Fridays in time for the fish!! Loved this place - so sad it has closed!!!

We went by Poo's today and learned that they are closed for good. Mike and Rhonda no longer have a lease. Looks like a gold Mine is available for the right investor. Too bad.

Going by the recommendation of the staff member we were staying, he told us about Captain Poo's. I told him I wanted fried flounder and he said if we got there early between 11am and 2:00pm on Friday, there's a flounder special for $7.99 He said the locals go there. Well, we got there 11:30am, and it was packed pretty... More

This place is a hole-in-the-wall bar with good food. Went with friends and we all had the fried shrimp. They were very good. Sides were good as well. The atmosphere and decor- not so much. It was kinda dirty with lots of bar games, including live trivia while we were eating. Not sure if I would return.

Last year we drove by and turned around. This place is neat on the inside. Inside you can’t smoke but on the outside bar you can. The inside has draft beer which is good for us. No draft beer outside. I ordered the Monday special which was hamburger steak with pinto beans, greens and mashed potatoes. No problems with my... More
