We brought family in from Chicago and and they were craving Oysters and they couldn't have been happier. The quality and happy hour price was just great. We will be there often.

Stop by this place for dinner almost every time in town. Small old school bar atmosphere with tables around the bar perimeter. Small mom and pop place bit dated and unkept, but it is a bar . Food is always good. This past week (early December) we sat at bar for first time. Huge 6 foot 5 inch bartender was... More

Was at Rockefellers Raw Bar in late November. Saw the sign" Happy Hour , oysters 55 cents each.." SO we decided to try it out.. Small place with a truly local flavor. The Oysters were awesome!! As were the Cajun grouper appetizers, and fresh corn. The service was quick and very friendly. Prices were amazing for a beach restaurant even... More

We stopped in for the happy hour to take advantage of steamed oysters, shrimp and a couple cold beers. Sat at the bar and had a chance to speak with some locals. By 5:30 it was standing room only. The service was good, steamed oysters were perfect and the beer was cold...what more could you ask for? Planning on a... More

We love Rockefellers. When ever we are in town, we have to go at least once for the Shecrab soup. It's so good. The seafood is fresh and the staff is friendly. April will take good care of you!!!

I can't think of anything better then eating myself into an oyster coma. Their happy hour $0.55 oysters between four and seven o'clock are heavenly. She crab soup was awesome. This is a great neighborhood joint full of locals. Staff is always great and I've only had great experiences at this restaurant. You must go :-)

Not too many folks at this place when we stopped in today. The bartender was very nice to us. We had a cold Dos Equis and New Castle with water. We had the oyster po-boy with home chips and the shrimp munchies basket. The oysters were not breaded heavy and the chips were really good. It had tomato and lettuce... More

If you really, really love a low-country boil, you must try one at Rockefellers Raw Bar! The crab legs, mussels, clams, oysters, shrimp and crawfish are steamed to perfection! The potatoes, corn and sausage aren't bad either! The atmosphere is rustic and friendly, like eating at your favorite uncle's house.

This place had it's best days behind him and it shows. We were seated in the back. There were also high tables with a Palm tree in the middle. Perhaps nice to see but a terrible idea to sit at one of them because you are not able to see the other person at the opposite end of this round... More
