I haven't been to Rockefellers in a couple of years. I was pleasantly reacquainted with the place. Good food and good service. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the golfers special (steam kettles selection). We were at the bar and enjoyed a couple "Martini's". Good bar atmosphere in a MB... read more

We wanted fresh delicious seafood, decent quality, and not breaking the budget. Rockefeller's was just perfect. Hot crab dip and lightly hand breaded calamari for an appetizer were piping hot and just the right portion. Steamer pot was awesome variety of oysters, clams, mussels, crayfish, crab legs, shrimp, sausage and potato. Not a fancy place, mixture of modern updates and... More

Fresh oysters with a 55 cent happy hour are delicious as is the fresh hot crab dip. The steamed pot filled with crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, crawfish, corn and new potatoes is a sea food lovers heaven. All seafood can be done steamed, broiled, blackened or fried. Great shore atmosphere and the service extremely friendly. Rockefellers definitely has a local/your... More

We spend the winters in Myrtle Beach and eat at Rockefellers at least twice during that time, not bad when you consider we have our own home and kitchen here. The oysters are beautifully prepared whether raw, steamed or fried. My personal favorites are oyster on the half shell followed by the appetiser serving of Ahi tuna prepared absolutely rare,... Have visited Rockefellers on numerous occasions over the last 10 years. Yesterday we drove from Pawleys Island for lunch. We recommend sitting in the comfortable captain's chairs at the bar where you can enjoy watching the game or have a conversation with the friendly bar tender/waitress. You can watch them prepare the steamed seafood in the bar side steamers. I... More

Been here a couple of time through the years and more then enjoyed myself every single time. All the Appetizers are great especially the Rockefeller. Anything goes with the entrees as well. You won't go wrong.

One of my favorites when I'm in the area. From thier steam bar to thier apps, the food is consistantly delicious. If you're lucky you can see the Man, the Myth, the Mike behind the bar providing a good story or a joke. If you're really lucky, he'll give you a big glass of "shut the f' up!". Good stuff!

My boyfriend Mark and I have gone here about 4 or 5 times now and we are always so happy. We always have great service and the happy hour oysters are delicious and very affordable even for poor folks like us :-) this is a great locals hang out but I have yet to visit during the tourist season and...
