Traditional Seaside Fare

Although not located on a boardwalk, Duffy Street reminds me of that type of place both atmosphere and general food offerings. The name says it all! Generally speaking restaurangt in the mainstreem areas of the tourist traps area are not all that good; what a surprise- we actually ate there twice; had the Low Country boil (way good) ; while there the waiter ( I hate that we forgot his name) suggested the shrimp and grits next time- The first was so great we came back... A local recommended this place to us and we really enjoyed this hidden gem on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The Seafood Boil buckets were very good. Reasonably priced with indoor and outdoor seating. Good service and it was packed with people.

The tavern had a theme like a bar at a foggy pier with various seafaring relics and decorations with low lighting. We knew it was casual because the floor was where they told us to throw our peanut shells. It had a decent seafood menu. I ordered the seafood chowder and the seafood platter. The seafood platter had a good-sized... More

Great convenient restaurant to walk to and stay away from Hwy 17 crowds. Food variety and reasonable prices. Overall we all liked.

No complaints! Visited with two other couples and we all split our dishes and fish bowl drinks. So much fun, great food, a good time! Our waiter was awesome and it was short staffed on this night.

Let me say this is not our first time eating at Duffy Street, so I was expecting better. My husband and I were getting a to-go order of a seafood platter & a po boy sandwich. Upon recommendation from the man taking our order over the phone, we ordered the Pirates Plate (pic next to logo featured on their webpage)... More

If your looking for good local seafood then this is the place. They also have lots of other things on the menu. The decor is rustic and comfortable for everyone. Great place to take the whole family.

The food overall was terrible. Soup was cold. Nachos so salty you could not eat them. Burger tasted like cardboard and appeared to have been cooked earlier in the day and "stored" for future service. Even the chicken nuggets/fries went uneaten due to them being cold and stale. Blackened fish bites were over seasoned. The entire party succumbed to stomach... More

Never again. Absolutely terrible. I went with my parents and let me say the crab dip didn't even taste like crab and the nachos were just full of beans and lettuce. We ordered other dishes that were okay, but now I'm sitting here with me and my mom very sick. PLEASE DONT waste your money here.
