Love the ambiance of the place. They have peanuts on all of the tables that you can shuck while you wait. Staff was professional and friendly and the place was clean. My husband had the fish sandwich and I had just grilled fish. Both were very good and plentiful. Beer was a little expensive. $4 per bottle so be careful... More

Rustic, casual atmosphere, Peanuts on the table, shells tossed on the floor. We shared the Pirates Sampler (the portion was plenty for my wife and myself). It included steamed crab legs, talapia, scallops, shrimp in the shell with Old Bay Seasoning served with one side.I also had a bowl of the seafood bisque. It was a little thin but it was... More

Have eaten at this restaurant on many occasions. Most of the time the food is good to very good. In my view sometimes the seafood is over breaded. The atmosphere is wonderful...and only a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Also, there are arcade game buildings all ..within a minute or 2 walk. In the summer, there is a "carnival"... More

We stopped here on 2 different times. We had the buffalo shrimp and a po-boy fish sandwich. We had some New South beer also. The po-boy had 2 big pieces of flounder on it. It was great, and the service was the same. We ate here for lunch also a few days later. I had the steamed oysters and po-boy... More

I don't usually start with superlatives like that (and I am not related to them in any way). The fish was well-cooked, well-seasoned (I wish I knew with what... slightly sweet... teriyaki?). I did not want to put any of the usual condiments (salsa, sour cream) on them to hide the wonderful flavor they had all on their own. There... More

We ordered the fried vegetable appetizer bc my friend was wanting fried green tomatoes. They were literally dripping with oil. My shrimp were almost all overcooked. The spiked lemonade was so sweet, we couldn't taste any alcohol. The only positive thing I can say is that the crab was delicious, cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Won't be back unless... Had a wonderful Mahi Mahi steak smothered with shrimp, scallops, and a marvelous sauce!! Server is on top of his game. We have enjoyed their food for years when visiting Cherry Grove, SC. Try it and leave the peanut hulls on the floor!

We have been going to the Duffy Street Seafood Shack in Cherry Grove every time we've gone to NMB for years. However after the last 3 disappointing visits we are going to throw in the towel on this restaurant. The music was so loud we could not even hear each other talk. We sat in the bar and the seats... A big dark, cold room with good food. The small crab legs took too much work to get the meat out. No help from waitress. The Crab Cakes were the best.

Been there about 4-5 times since we have been here in North Myrtle Beach. It is nice to walk to someplace instead of driving. Little on the expensive side.
