Lots of choices; bring your wallet

Had a mid-afternoon early dinner here. Lots of choices on the buffet. Some not quite identifiable. But unless you go to a buffet to "pig out", the check is pretty steep for two normal people: $54.00 plus drinks. Ouch! Not gourmet, but OK. We could have a pretty nice steak dinner for that. So, for... read more

We stopped here for the first time and found the buffet to be much better than some of the others. The food is fresh, hot, and extremely tasty. The crab legs are awesome, and everything is cooked to perfection! Highly recommended!

We were in a hurry and needed a quick bite. I knew the quality would be poor since these calabash houses on the strand have bad reputations anyway, but even with low expectations I was underwhelmed. Almost no seafood on the bar, everything that was there was either fried or had been sitting there for many hours. Even the wait... More

Whenever we go to myrtle Beach we go to Bennett's for crab legs. They serve them hot, and only heat a small number at a time so the don't dry out. We eat primarily the crab, but the rest of the buffet is also very good.

We had planned a siblings reunion golf trip to North Myrtle Beach almost 8 months ago. Due to Hurricane Joachin, three of 6 couples didn't make it, but the rest of us were at Bennett's as soon as they opened at 2pm. It is a fixed price buffet for about $28.00 per person excluding beverage. The tuna steak was delicious,... More

Food was old and tasteless! Restaurant was dirty and way overpriced! Paid $33.00 for one person for the all you could eat seafood bar and ended up not eating but a little bit. Really disappointing and it was our last night out to do something. Hilton Resort should take them off their list of restaurants that they will shuttle you... More

Most of the food was pretty good - there was quite a variety although I would have liked more unbreaded choices. It seemed quite pricey to me at around $30 per plate.

I’m posting this review under Bennett’s and Giant Crab as it’s basically a comparison between the two. We were in North Myrtle Beach the third week of August and ate at both locations. Overall observations of 3 adults and a 6 year old: Bennett’s had the better tasting Crab, although both offered plentiful amounts. GC had a hibachi grill, enjoyed... More

I came to this restaurant with severe dairy and peanut allergies. The manager and the waitress (Kelly) were very caring and paid special attention to my needs. I had a wonderful steak, corn on the cob, salad, and fruit. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. If you or your child has food allergies, this is a... More

I wish I had read the previous reviewer before we went to this place. My wife got sick in the car before we got backtrack to our condo, and I had a sour stomach all night. It is not really calabash style seafood (which is what they advertise) if u want calabash seafood, take a half hour drive north to... More
