Had Alex as our waiter. He was on the money with all of his ssuggestions. The food was outrageous, and the service was terrific. If your visiting myrtle beach this place is a must and ask for Alex, he's a great waiter.

True Italian! 4 courses with plenty of food left over for the next day. Order any of the meat entries since one of the 3 courses before the main course is angle hair in a light tomato sauce. We ordered the pork chops and the plate was barely big enough to hold the 2 large thick cut chops. The atmosphere... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here in early February 2015. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server was Tom, who was a perfect balance of observant without being obtrusive. The meal began with an appetizer of beans and greens along with very good bread. This was a great introduction to the meal,... More

I've eaten many times at Umberto's over the years and always have had a good meal. Everything has been consistent. My favorite is the lobster ravioli which my wife and I normally split. There is a charge for sharing the entree but with the other courses, it is worth it.

We hit Myrtle once a year for golf and Umberto's is a must stop for dinner. Although I have a love / hate relationship with garlic, I must get the Garlic bread, the White bean and Garlic soup, and the Pasta Carbonara. This place is a must for Myrtle Beach trippers.

My family walked over to Umberto's after the Alabama Theater matinee. Had to wait a few minutes for the doors to open at 5:00 but it is always worth the wait. The service was impeccable. Whatever we needed, Stephan could arrange for. Ask for oil to go with the bread and you'll get oil AND roasted garlic! The piccata dishes... More

Took my family to Umberto's tonight and had a great meal. Excellent food, huge portions (maybe even too big) and a good atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We ate at Umbertos for dinner even though it is a Pittsburgh eatery as the Browns were in first place that week! I had chicken Antonio and my husband had veal parmigiana. Both were delicious and service was excellent. Lots of food including beans and pasta soup, tomato, cuke, and onions in Italian dressing, and pasta with marinara, plus bread... More

Excellent food, do not care for it's location but the service, food and indoor atmosphere is wonderful.
