EVO is located in the bustling resurgent area of "Down-Town North Charleston" Lots of little bars, restaurants and antique stores. They have carved themselves a serious niche as a classic, wood fired pizza place. The menu is not extensive but it has enough variety to most most people. The salads are excellent, The Pizzas are great (For myself, I would... More

Sure an 8" pizza is more than $10 but it is soo worth it that we have gone back 3 times this month! I've traveled the world from Italy to Spain to New York City and this is one of my top 3 Pizza spots! I love the atmosphere, I love the crew and I love the location! You guys... More

What is there to say about Evo that hasn't already been said? Their food is delicious, but pricey. (But much of it's locally grown/sourced, so that's a bonus.) I know a lot of people who love their pizza but say you never quite feel full afterwards, which I agree with. I both live and work nearby, and I only ever... More

I had to laugh when I read the last two reviews for EVO. NOTE to you folks: Charleston is not supposed to be NY, Boston or Chicago! I am a Philly native who moved to Charleston in 1999 and am still waiting for the pizza and hoagies I grew up on to arrive here. Believe it or not, in some... More

This place is way overpriced $13 for an 8" pizza with burned crust , extremely thin almost see through dough that for being "wood oven" baked, the flavor was not there at all. Whatever it is that they make, sure shouldn't be called pizza, if you want real pizzas you should visit New York, Boston, Chicago, etc.

Arrived hoping that the pizza would be good. We ordered Bruschetta, never had it with no tomatoes, it was ok. Ordered the trifecta pork and Margarita the ingredients are excellent, the pizza is transparent thin, no taste of "wood" fire pizza, burnt. It was cardboard with tomatoe sauce and cheese. They could have chopped the basil, made it nicer to... More

My wife and I dined at Evo. We ordered a large salad that was a special (Brussel Sprouts, field greens, carrots, orange etc.) and shared. The salad was excellent. The vegetables were warm and fresh. The portion was good size and we were very happy. We also ordered and shared a small what they call pizza. We have lived in... More
