My wife and i went here on the recommendation of the local UPS store owner "John ". The food was excellent. I had the pork supper (pulled pork) , with baked beans and mac & cheese. All three were great. Mac & cheese was the best I've ever had. The wife had the ribs, and coleslaw. The ribs were by... More

My husband and I went there for dinner this past Friday. They had such wonderful reviews on trip advisor/yelp/google. We figured everyone couldn't be wrong and they are right near our house. I got the turkey and pork with mac n' cheese and fries. My husband got brisket and pork with mac n' cheese and green beans. Both plates came... More

We visited on a Monday evening around 5:oo p.m. There was no line, no wait; there was only one other couple eating in the restaurant. We ordered two meat combo platters, a side salad, one chicken tender meal, and four drinks. It was more than plenty food for a family of two adults and three kids-who had huge appetites! It... More

Very close to the Hampton Inn I stayed at on 2688 Fernwood Drive in Charleston. I had a meat and BBQ combo--very good and at the low price of $9.99. I also had a bottle of beer that cost only $2.50. Not only is the food and service excellent, but as you can see the price is right. This restaurant... More

We have eaten here several times during our visits. The meat is really good and juicy. Prices are very reasonable. Great selection of sides. I recommend the beef with collard greens and fries.

Saw the reviews here and had to try. Just finished off my pork supper with the North Carolina Vinegar sauce. Awesome! The Country Corn Fritters are excellent, and the radio station was blasting 80-90's rock. No room for desert, so will have to come back one day soon.

Since I don't live in North Charleston, I can only eat there when I'm in town, and it's the first place I stop at - even before checking into my hotel! I am usually in Charleston for 4-7 days at a time and always eat there 3 or 4 times each trip. Absolutely outstanding beef brisket and the servings are... More

We ate here three times in five days since the food was so good, and it was within walking distance of our hotel. We loved the beef brisket, sweet barbecue sauce (among the several choices), and the bread pudding. I'm not normally a fan of bread pudding, but their version is delicious. The service was prompt and courteous.

There are plenty of other bbq places in Charleston. This place sucks. The food was dry and waaay too salty. It's overpriced as well.
