We have eaten here several times during our visits. The meat is really good and juicy. Prices are very reasonable. Great selection of sides. I recommend the beef with collard greens and fries.

Saw the reviews here and had to try. Just finished off my pork supper with the North Carolina Vinegar sauce. Awesome! The Country Corn Fritters are excellent, and the radio station was blasting 80-90's rock. No room for desert, so will have to come back one day soon.

Since I don't live in North Charleston, I can only eat there when I'm in town, and it's the first place I stop at - even before checking into my hotel! I am usually in Charleston for 4-7 days at a time and always eat there 3 or 4 times each trip. Absolutely outstanding beef brisket and the servings are... More

We ate here three times in five days since the food was so good, and it was within walking distance of our hotel. We loved the beef brisket, sweet barbecue sauce (among the several choices), and the bread pudding. I'm not normally a fan of bread pudding, but their version is delicious. The service was prompt and courteous.

There are plenty of other bbq places in Charleston. This place sucks. The food was dry and waaay too salty. It's overpriced as well.

If you are looking for good food and variety, this is the place. They offer different daily specials and every visit is a treat. If you have not tried this place, find the time.

We were in Charleston before leaving on a cruise. We ate here because it was close to hotel. There were 3 workers working 2 of which were younger girls the other was a mid age man. The girls were showing way to much if their hind ends for a family restaurant. They were both rude and acted as if we... More

This was our first visit to Willie Jewell's, and my husband was a bit apprehensive. However, once we got in there that quickly went away. We weren't starving, but wanted to get something good in our system, so we split a combo platter with ribs and beef brisket. The barbeque sauces are set off to the side and kept in... More

Son and g/f ate here on vacation and reported it was the best value of the dozen or so restaurants we ate at in SC over our 7 days on the road. His $9.99 combo included a choice of any two meats including ribs which are extra in some joints as well as two sides. He said for the price... More
