Can't say much about the quality of their restaurant meals as on the day we visited my daughter and I only had salads for lunch. The chef, however, needs to cut back on the overuse of vinegar in their vinaigrette. The overabundance of vinegar made the salad too tart and quite sour. The salad... read more

How does sitting outside or inside whichever suits your fancy at the moment sound? The charming small neighborhood in South Augusta has the feel of days gone by with up to date deliciously prepared farm to table food. Can't wait to go again.

Manuels bread cafe is perfect place to have brunch during the weekend! They have a delicious yummy buffet that includes shrimp and grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, the best French toast you'd ever have and much more! The place it's so classy it makes you feel out of little North Augusta and it kinda makes you feel like... More

Good food, good service, but my goodness, why pay $15-20 for a sandwich and salad for lunch? The place has a fancy-schmancy feel to it, and it's in a great spot in North Augusta...But jeez Louise why so expensive?

dinner at Manuel's is a great mix of familiar ingredients paired together in gourmet Southern style to please any palate. Steak, seafood, veal and pork chops something for everyone. Don't forget to try the dessert sampler - you will not be disappointed. Always a great experience , excellent food and service.

The venue was gorgeous, the waitstaff very very kind, and the coffee (which I took black) actually tasted quite delicious. Strongly recommend.

I had a wonderful pasta dish made with homemade tomato sauce that was delicious. We arrived between lunch and dinner. They make all of their desserts in house as well. Great waiter! Quaint restaurant in a trendy neighborhood. Will return someday!

We had five adults in our party and each ordered a different entree for lunch. Each menu item was thoughtfully prepared. The service was a bit slow, but we enjoyed the open kitchen and the decor while we waited. This is a cute, out-of-the way place that features some locally grown ingredients.

Food always delicious but the wait staff is a little strange. Many times inexperienced and snappy. Nice seating inside or outside.

Bottom line: Don't ruin great ingredients with nearly inedible seasoning, and if you are going to call yourself a bread cafe, please offer more than white bread with pre-packaged butter. We stopped in here on a Saturday night for dinner. The cafe is a cozy little establishment with an open kitchen. The tables are really close and with so many... More
