We stumbled on this place while traveling. We were very warmly welcomed by staff and guests alike. We had the dinner buffet and it was great and the price was more than fair. Do yourself a favor and get off the beaten path for a taste of southern cooking like grandma used to make.

This is a good and inexpensive place for either a quick delicious southern style buffet lunch or breakfast, or if you have the time, a tasty cooked to order meal off the menu. The place is always packed at noon, so come a little earlier or later if you can and avoid the crowd. Chicken tenders and smothered hamburger steak... More

I work in Newberry and eat here at least every other week. Their buffet is the best deal and if you are hungry enough you can get unlimited visits. Otherwise, you'll have a choice of 3-4 meat entrees and several 'southern' sides like fried okra, mac and cheese and so on. There is almost always either rice or mashed potatoes... More

Was driving off 26 and could not find many places to stop and eat. Sick of driving we happened to stop here in Newberry and we asked a few locals where to go eat some food at besides fast food and we were told this was a good spot to go to. Glad we went here. You can tell when... More

Sunday buffet with all your classic southern foods, fried chicken, southern fried steak, casseroles. Good food but nothing special.

My wife and I ate here recently on our way to the lake. Upon reading the review on here, i chose to give it a try. The interior is in need of an update badly. Mix matched ceiling fans and tables and chairs. Defenitely could use a visit from chef robert irvine. The service was adequate. It did get busy... More

Read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent. My husband had the roast beef and rice and the serving was HUGE and great taste, just like Mom's! I had the Fried Chicken and it was wonderful. We had read about the chocolate cake being fabulous. My husband tried that - very good. I tried the peach cobbler... More

Met here 12-12-12 for a girls gathering of former work friends after our more "upscale" restaurant in downtown Newberry had gone out of business. We liked it just as well although an entirely different atmosphere. Ronnie's is "down-home" in every way-food, decor, seating. They have a buffet as well as can order from the menu. Southern food as well as... More

Buffet type meal. Good country cooking - not low fat, but good!! I would have given it an excellent rating, but some of the food was just warm instead of my preference of hot as in right out of the oven temperature.

IF you are traveling any where near Newberry, SC., you must stop @ Ronnie's! They have the best chicken and potato salad ever! This is a neat restaurant with friendly staff and a bountiful buffet! There's also a BBQ pit with ribs/bbq/etc. This will become a regular stop for us when traveling within 50 miles or so! Don't miss it;... More
