My last visit to Fire Island... will be my last visit

We stopped here on 8/15, our last day in NMB for dinner. My wife and I had been here with family and friends two times before, the last time in 2012 and the meals were great... this time... Holy Cow... what a difference and not for the better. I was looking forward to some crab legs... they were... read more

This restaurant was very good. It had a seafood, island flavor to it. Although I think it was the waitresses first time, she handled it well. I got the seafood combination with fish, clam strips, oysters and shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised it was awesome. The food was delivered to the table very quickly. It is moderately prices and an... More

This was the worst meal I have had in a long time. First you pay almost $10 for 5 oysters for the appetizer. Then I payed $10 for Hawaiian chicken sandwhich. the chicken had no flavor whatsoever I ordered rice with it that tasted as if it want cooked all the way. Every bite I took the rice was crunchy.... We stumbled onto this restaurant seeking a decent meal without a long waiting time. Our party of seven was very pleased! My sister and I had the special (mahi-mahi with rice and mixed vegetables). Our meal was excellent! The rest of the party had burgers which they said were excellent! Additionally, since we were there right during happy hour we... More

I would classify this as Polynesian or Hawaiian cuisine. I had the sweet and sour chicken and it was excellent. Service was prompt but we did have some difficulty with the waiter's accent; but we got by.

Stopped in for drinks and a snack on a Sunday afternoon and got to hear some great live music in the bar--trio of musicians with talent. Bar was nice. Bartender was very attentive and served us the drinks and food himself. The entertainment was so good that the servers lined up at the end of the bar to hear the... More

The restaurant is decorated with a tropical flare. We expected the food to be unique and flavorful. Much to our despair, it was not. Our family was celebrating a birthday, so we were quite disappointed. Our waitress was from Ukraine and could not describe the specials to us, as she didn't know enough English. Pricey food and specialty drinks. Will... More

We stopped by for a lunch on a Saturday. We had been down by Bass Pro, and the Mustang show was going on nearby and overflowing the nearby restaurants. We chose to drive up to Barefoot, where there are many choices to dine. We decided to try Fire Island Grille. This was not my best decision. We arrived a bit... More

This is the best service we've had in Myrtle Beach! Our server Paula was just as sweet as could be. She was knowledgeable of the menu and the area and the food came out timely. Calamari and dipping sauce is amazing. The rest was good too but the sauces really stand out. Thanks for a great experience.

The restaurant had a Polynesian feel and the good was exceptional. We sat outside and ate while we listened to live music from a group called Bourbon and Cream Puffs. The atmosphere was wonderful I highly recommend it.
