Stopped in for drinks and a snack on a Sunday afternoon and got to hear some great live music in the bar--trio of musicians with talent. Bar was nice. Bartender was very attentive and served us the drinks and food himself. The entertainment was so good that the servers lined up at the end of the bar to hear the... More

I do not like to leave negative reviews, but you should not waste your time and money here. We should have known that when we got seated and there was only one other family dining here, everywhere else at Barefoot was packed. Food was bland, not presented well. It wasn't horrible, but the prices did not match the quality. Communicating... More

The restaurant is decorated with a tropical flare. We expected the food to be unique and flavorful. Much to our despair, it was not. Our family was celebrating a birthday, so we were quite disappointed. Our waitress was from Ukraine and could not describe the specials to us, as she didn't know enough English. Pricey food and specialty drinks. Will... More

We stopped by for a lunch on a Saturday. We had been down by Bass Pro, and the Mustang show was going on nearby and overflowing the nearby restaurants. We chose to drive up to Barefoot, where there are many choices to dine. We decided to try Fire Island Grille. This was not my best decision. We arrived a bit... More

This is the best service we've had in Myrtle Beach! Our server Paula was just as sweet as could be. She was knowledgeable of the menu and the area and the food came out timely. Calamari and dipping sauce is amazing. The rest was good too but the sauces really stand out. Thanks for a great experience.

The restaurant had a Polynesian feel and the good was exceptional. We sat outside and ate while we listened to live music from a group called Bourbon and Cream Puffs. The atmosphere was wonderful I highly recommend it.

We were meeting friends at barefoot landing for Happy Hour. Decided to try Fire Island. Our first clue that it wasn't going to be great was that it was 5:30 and not another party in the entire restaurant. Six adults were in our party and we were seated in the dining area. We asked to see the happy hour menu... More

The following is a list of things that made our dining experience awful: 1. Ambient temperature in restaurant was 80 degrees. People at our table and servers profusely sweating. 2. Server with a poor grasp of English 3. Server never showed up. Waited 22 minutes for the substitute server to show up. 4. Strange to see numerous servers (7-10) just... More

We found an advertisement and recommendation in our resort room so we gave it a try. There was 4 of us and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great plus we sat on the deck. The band was very good and the crowd was entertained! I had the sirloin steak while the rest of us... More

Was looking for an Island theme bar and came across this restaurant. Loved the web-site and the menu looked very good! I usually check trip-advisor but was running late, so decided to go. First of all..........this place is difficult to find! It sits on the backside of Barefoot Landing, and not easily seen if you are walking around. When you... More
