Wish I had read some of the reviews before wasting a dinner night out on my family vacation here. 2 adults, 2 kids (who ate off the kids menu), $96. Food was bland. We had fine dining the night before, for less. If you want a drink at happy hour prices, you go to the bar yourself. If your child... More

Walked in about noon, the place was deserted, had to find the hostess, sandwiches were well priced but the meals were way overpriced. Food was decent nothing extraordinary.

Saturday night and Mr Fish had a 45 minute wait so we came here. Staff was very friendly and was promptly seated. Its a sign when everyone else has a wait and they don't. Appetizers were small - had the shrimp dip, was good. For my entree I had the tuna - it was dry

Please don't waste your time on this restaurant. We had a party of 8 and decided last minute to go out to eat so our options were limited, we gave Fire Island a try and really regretted it. The food was disgusting and expensive. I don't want to waste any time on this so I will leave this vague on... More

We went to NMB for a show at the House of Blues and wanted to try a new place for dinner. Won't make this mistake again....the food was served in very small portions (even for an appetizer) and looked/tasted like barely microwaved food from a can. We had to go somewhere else for dinner. I would not go back.

We go here every time we go to NMB. It has unique Polynesian Atmosphere. Very nice menu with a little bit of everything. They often offer a coupon on their website. Prices are about average for this upscale dining. Prices run from $16-$30+. Nice Happy Hour.

Food was average at best and service was slow. Not enough staff for average crowd on a weeknight. Long wait and food was a disappointment, Not near the quality of other seafood places at barefoot and in the area. Lot of better places to eat at barefoot than here.

Wonderful food, but poor service. Mahi mahi with 3 dipping sauces on the side was great! Loves the pulled pork sandwich and the tiki rice. The service was not so great. The food took forever to come out. We had a 2 yr old and 5 yr old with us. We asked for some bread or rolls for them, but... More

My boyfriend, our two best friends, and myself recently stopped off at the Fire Island Grill not knowing what to expect. I had found an awesome coupon online for BOGO entrees and their awesome Sacrifice drink looked too good to pass up. Beach food is expensive so we were expecting pricey. It really wasn't that bad. The food was AMAZING.... More

This place is about average priced for a tourist restaurant. No one in out party liked their food and the management has really pitiful policies. The restaurant was empty and I had to argue with the hostess to keep out umbrella stroller at our table (had all our bags, etc. in it). Someone in out party asked for extra onions... More
