For truly GREAT Italian food you will find none better that at the family owned and operated Luigi's Italian Restaurant. The food is out of this world great and the folks there are warm and friendly.

We came in after traveling all day looking for a non-chain restaurant where there wasn't a long wait. We were seated right away even without a reservation. The food was delicious. We had the chicken florentine and the scallops risotto. The servers was nice and it was a great experience.

We have been going to Luigi's for years and it has been going down hill. Food is just ok ,service is very slow . I think they are under staffed , severs have way to many tables all over the restaurant so it is hard to catch them if you need something.

Osso Bucco. Enough said!!!!! I guess anything that you order is wonderful. Friends had the lamb and are sill talking about it a month later. Great service. It is so nice to eat at a locally owned and not a chain restaurant. Not your cookie cutter Italian Restaurant. Great wine list.

The food was great, service was slow but we had a ton of people with us. Ate outside, they had a guy entertaining us with acoustic guitar/singing.

Small family owned restaurant featuring traditional but exceptionally well-prepared Italian dishes. Our server, Laurel, was pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu items. Our party of five sat outside, and the great food was accompanied by great music provided by Glenn Taylor. The music was oldies played/sung at a perfect level: loud enough to hear, soft enough to carry on... More

Dinner at luigis was exceptionally good. Larry our server, was very attentive and prompt. Glasses stayed filled and food delivered like a pro! The bruschetta was fresh and wonderful. The entrees were fresh and plentiful! I highly recommend Luigis for authentic and reasonably priced italian! It is a regular stop every visit now to the grand strand!

This is our second time eating here and the food is fantastic. I feel that this is very authentic and the atmosphere is nice. I could see where someone might think it is not kid friendly, but they are very kid friendly. I think their location hurts them some because they don't seem to get too overcrowded, but if this... We really expected a true Italian restaurant experience. Unfortunately every meal my family ordered was inundated with garlic. We ordered an app of fried mozzarella but to our surprise, the order consisted of fried mozzarella sticks. My son order pasta with butter and it was covered with seasons such as parsley and oregano. For a kids meal, it should have... More
