There was nothing to dislike about this place. Abuelo's is located on highway 17, away from the strip and near a mall. The place was packed, but our wait was less than 20 minutes. The service was awesome, and the food was good and hot. Our waitress was very attentive and recommended dishes since this was our first visit. The... More

Server was very good! Best service we have had in a long time! Food is always good here except the fajitas portion is small for the price meat is dry and one strip of green pepper one strip of red pepper onions were burnt to the platter. This is second time I've tried fajItas and same experience both times. Everything... More

We were down in the southern part of MB and thought we'd check out a restaurant that we had never seen before! Reviews that my husband read seemed to be fairly good and we are glad we followed them. Let me start by saying this is the "hottest" food I've ever been served!!! Let that be a warning and a... More

My meal was good and my family enjoyed their meal. Servers were polite and attentive. Menu was HUGE. I did not have a bad experience to speak of and, as Mexican restaurants go, it was really good. I enjoyed the 3 salsas as while waiting for my entree.

Chips and salsa were great. 3 different types of salsa..and all were really good. My draft beer was not very cold. My Fajitas were OK. I dont think they make the fajitas as... More

I discovered Abuelos while on a business trip in Oklahoma City two months ago. What I hadn't known is that it is a chain. I visited Abuelos in Myrtle Beach, SC last night and was once again not disappointed. The food is great and very authentic, which is surprising for a chain establishment. The service was exceptional as well. The... More

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant and each time it seems to get a little better. We enjoy eating at the bar, and this place has a great bar scene. Not to mention that they whip up a really decent Manhattan and an equally delicious Sangria. They have a great Happy Hour menu that includes several Mexican favorites... More

Went here during a tropical storm so it was unusually busy. We told our server who looked stressed to the max to take her time bc we had nothung else to do. Lunch took 2 hours but we had a wonderful time and loved the food and drinks. .highly recommended!
