our trip was on a Sunday evening around 8pm. nice service, great food! Beautiful decor! After living here in Myrtle Beach for last 4 years, this is tops for Mexican restaurants.

We have eaten at many Mexican restaurants and this was by for the best ever!! You choose your sides, you don't get a pile of refried beans and yellow rice plopped on your plate. Atmosphere is nice, waiter Rick was very attentive. Planning on going again next week and trying their prime rib!!! Cant go wrong here...FABULOUS !!!

Ate here twice. The first time I had a chicken fajita and the chicken was dry and tough. The second time was only because friends wanted to meet here, I never had a quesadilla rolled like an enchilada and soggy. Quesadillas are usually flat and crispy. Not one of my favorite places to eat. You can do better.

The server seemed out of his element, but they sat us down quickly. We had a party of 16, not all of us had arrived. One in our party had to leave early, but our waiter helped out by getting her food and check quickly. My Drink never hit bottom, but the salsa and chips were not up to my... More

My husband and I have been to Abuelo's Happy Hour many times and really enjoyed the food. We decided to go today for lunch, and ordered fajitas, expecting to find a good sized portion at $12.50 each. When the order came, we received two taco size wraps each. It was impossible to get chicken, cheese, sour cream and pico de... More

Found this place as we searched for the best mexican restaurant and found this place. We were weirded out since it's in a mall area but it's definitely worth a shot. they had four different types of salsas and we ordered the cheese sampler appetizer. Super great!

Our family always eats here one night during our yearly vacation to MB. As always the service and food was superb. Great place for kids also. The guacamole and chicken nachos were great and I had the marinated chicken fajitas which came out sizzling hot as expected, very tasty. So much better than Burro Loco. We will be back again... More

We found Abuelos several years ago and have been returning ever since. This year it lived up to to expectations once again. From the chips and salsas, to the lovely murals on the walls and of course the outstanding food, this may be our favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere. We love the home made corn tortillas and we tend to gravitate... More

My husband and I had dinner at Abuelo's. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. The restaurant was busy with large parties. I asked the waitress to recommend the best entree. She recommended fajitas. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. When we received our food, it was a bunch of uncooked onions and... More
