Loved it!!!

We came in close to closing time, but the owner said no problem and welcomed us in. We ordered our food and it came quick. The food was great! Some of the best German food I've ever had. This will definitely be a regular stop when I come to Myrtle Beach. The waitress was friendly and had a great... read more

Everything we ordered was expertly prepared and seasoned. The German tap beer was fresh and tasty. Our server was prompt, efficient and friendly. Atmosphere and wait staff uniforms were a little kitschy and fun. It is hard to find authentic, well prepared and seasoned German food, Old Vienna delivered on all three. If you are a fan of German food,... More

This was our second visit to Cafe Old Vienna in as many weeks. Today we had the pork shanks plate for two. One of the best meals we've had during our two month stay in MB. We started out with the potato pancake appetizer. Delicious. The salads with the house dressing were great. The entrée came with sauerkraut, red cabbage,... More

Six of us went to try this restaurant last night. Victoria was our server and she was excellent. But the food was outstanding. Great dressing on the House Salad we all received, fantastic German beer on tap for the guys, and we girls had German wine which was really good. I ordered the Almond coated Chicken Schnitzel, with Spätzle and... More

Good German food. Ordered jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle and with my eyes closed, I could have imagined myself in southern Germany rather than southern US.

Lots of tasty dishes and a good variety on their menu. Schnitzel specialties, sandwiches and grilled sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. If you leave this place hungry, it's your own fault! Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Be sure to get there early. We ate in the off-season and the restaurant was packed! A good sign of great food! Highly... More

After reading all of the wonderful reviews, we just had to dine here! We came for lunch and were seated promptly in a cozy booth, near the front of the restaurant. Service was prompt; we loved the servers' German outfits. Hubby ordered the veal wiener schnitzel and I had the chicken schnitzel. Both were excellent and served with two sides,... More

My husband and I ate lunch here on day and were very surprised on how delicious the food was. We have traveled to Germany many, many times and this was as close as you can get. We ordered the Jauger Schnitzel with spätzle and their tomato - cucumber salad. It was the best, very flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place in anything but an Authentic German-Austrian Alpine Lodge serving traditional German Soul Food. We have been to many authentic German restaurants over the years, so, we know what good German and Austrian food is like. This is by far the worst “German” food we have ever encountered and doesn't even resemble good German food. We had the schnitzel,... More

We've enjoyed the Café Old Vienna for years, and now they're in a new, more accessible location that seats about five times as many patrons, plus it has an outdoor beer garden deck that should prove very popular in the warmer weather. Food and service remain outstanding: we ordered the Bavarian bratwurst sandwich (grilled and split, served on a French... More
