Not overly impressed. My husband had the Weiner Schnitzel and found it good but not outstanding. I had the special of Sauerbraten which was a good piece of beef and very tender but with a mild flavoring more like pot roast. I opted for German potato salad which was cold and mainly potatoes with some parsley for seasoning - way... More

Our first visit to this restaurant but won't be our last. Stopped in for lunch and the place was packed. I tried the Schnitzel sandwich with spaetzle and another person in my party had the Bratwurst Sandwich. Both tasty and generous portions. I had a good non alcoholic German beer and they have wine and imported beers also. There is... More

On Feb 26 I called to make an appointment for eight seniors for the early bird dinner. Although this information is advertised on one of the restaurant sites, I was informed there are no early birds or even senior discounts. The ad we saw stated early birds at 9.95. it also stated all you can eat pork chops on a... More

Went with friends for our anniversary celebration. Good atmosphere, very friendly staff. I had the Original Veal-Wiener Schnitzel. Came with house salad and two sides. I had the Plain Spatzle with gravy and fries. They also have soft pretzels as a side. It was VERY good and I highly recommend this restaurant

In looking at some of the recent reviews, I am wondering if they are suffering some growing pains from the move to a larger location. If so, hopefully they will get that situation under control. We just discovered this restaurant in January and had lunch at the old location. The food was absolutely delicious. It was the best Wiener Schnitzel... More

A very small restaurant with good food. Make sure and make reservations. The German beer was very good.

I have multiple food allergies: gluten (I'm a celiac), dairy (casein, specifically), and various fruits/veggies. This place has a separate gluten-free menu, so I figured it would be safer than most. Before going to the restaurant, I called and asked which of their GF menu items were also DF. They told me everything, but that was a bit alarming, since... More

Saint Valentine’s Day at Café Old Vienna with Sequel A night I would rather forget! We’ve been patrons at Café Old Vienna almost since they opened. I made reservations on January 28, for Valentine’s Day for a party of four, at 6:30 PM. Let me state up-front, the accolades begin and end with the food being excellent, the service was... More

I was really impressed with this place. We ate there on valentines and had a superb dining event. Modestly have eaten at over 100 German restaurants in the Us and nearly as many in Germany. Would rate this in my Top 10! If you are in the area ...GO!
