A Delicious Surprise

From the salads to the Almond Wiener Schnitzel and the Viennese Gulasch and the Spatzle with Gravy and perfect Red Cabbage, our meal was excellent. Even the average Austrian lager beer tasted excellent with our food. The service was also responsive but more European than American, as we were mostly... read more

We found this little gem by accident while wandering back to our hotel. What a wonderful surprise! It's tiny but truly looks and feels like a local café in Vienna. And the food was delicious from first to last bites. Service is excellent, atmosphere is cozy, and our plates were presented with schnitzel and goulasch that match what we enjoy... More

First time visit for me, family are regulars. Extremely limited seating, make reservations. By far the best on the Strand as far as Central/Western European fare. All schnitzels were crisp and tender, sauces were creamy and cabbage just right. Exceeds HB by far. Make a reservation and enjoy!

Small restaurant in small shopping strip. Reservations required apparently due to limited space. My wife and another couple went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who shared a love of German food. The ladies got a bottle of wine and they guys got liter bottles of a great beer with pop tops. My wife and I had... More

My husband and I have been searching for a great German food restaurant. Others we've tried have been bland and boring to pretty good but Cafe Old Vienna was fantastic! We got there about an hour and a half before closing time for lunch. The place is quite small but they are moving to a larger place in January, 2015.... More

Have been to Cafe Old Vienna several times and food is always excellent. We always take friends and they also rave about the food. They also have several German Beers..I recommend the Warsteiner Dark. You will need a reservation as the seating is limited and usually full.

This was our second visit to Cafe Old Vienna and our experience was out of this world. I had the jaeger schnitzel and it was heavenly. The cafe is extremely quaint so reservations are needed but the food is really good.

This is a small restaurant. We called and got a reservation for the same evening. The house salad that came with our entrees was delicious as were the entrees sauerbraten, veal wiener schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel. Wish we lived closer. If so, we would be regulars! If you like German food don't miss this place. Our server informed us they... More

We had been here a few years ago, great then and still is. I have been getting their email for the past month with coupons. Without a printer here, my wife was on their facebook with their coupon. They would not accept the facebook coupon because it was two weeks old. They need to update their facebook. This restaurant has... More

This was our second time here and it was another great experience. Everything was served piping hot and was delicious. Service was spot on. This is a must-visit for us when we come to Myrtle Beach.
