We enjoyed our dinner. My husband and I shared a porterhouse and my 14 year old ordered chop steak. We also ordered sides and shrimp cocktail. Dinner was as expected, yummy.

We always have dinner with several friends while at an annual conference in Myrtle Beach. We have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. My wife and I dined here alone the first night in town and again with our group of friends on another night. Service is first class and just attentive enough to not be "pesky."... More

To place is very expensive which we fully expected. We dine a truth cris, shulas, and a variety of other top notch steak houses so fully prepared for the cost, that being said you expect perfection which the service was perfect. The sides were great everything spot on. My only issue is the char they put on the steaks. Our... More

Thank you for choosing to dine at NY Prime. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Pittsburgh-style broiling method. It does add caramelization on the steaks for a little extra flavor. We know this method is not for everyone so we have a disclaimer on our menu explaining it. There is also an option to cook the steaks without... More

We were invited to dinner at New York Prime by a local friend of ours in the Myrtle beach area. After looking up their website, I was a little nervous. I do not really like red meat and this isn't the type of restaurant my husband and I frequent. I could tell by the photos that it was obviously a... More

Very nice atmosphere, a little noisy but that was probably from the large group sitting across from our table. We made reservations online and were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Wait staff was very attentive, especially our waiter, william j, who helped guide us with our choice of selections. Another staff member visited our table to... More

My lovely bride Betty and I dined at New York Prime on 28th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, SC last night. To begin I researched this restaurant online and checked out their menu. The menu suited the dietary needs that Betty has perfectly. After looking at the menu, I noticed that I could book a reservation online which is always... More

Hands down this is the best dining on the Grand Strand! Not my first visit. My family was staying at Cherry Grove for a few days, and I made a reservation for Mother's Day. Mom had a 3# lobster - it was the smallest they serve. And, they do serve it. Bring it out on a cart and remove it... More

New York Prime is by far the best steak house south of Peter Luger in Brooklyn NY. I have been a regular here for the last 15 years and have always been extremely pleased. They only serve USDA PRIME beef and everything on the menu is first quality. I have dined at Halls Chop House and Oak Steak House in... More

First visit, celebrating a birthday. The service was wonderful, very attentive, white table cloths, reminded me of the steak restaurants in NYC, 1960's. Music playing, Jazz, Frank Sinatra, era, perfect for the atmosphere. food was outstanding! We shared the sides which were huge. The baked shrimp were amazing, the steaks were perfect. It was a great experience. It wasn't just... More
