My husband and I chose to eat here based on trip advisor and locals recommending it. Glad we made a reservation because it was packed. Very dated, cheesy decor. Needs a facelift in a bad way. We had mussels as an appetizer that were fresh and tasty! My husband had the seafood risotto which was a massive serving size and... More

Had dinner while in town working a trade show. Food was excellent and meal was very enjoyable thanks in part to Michael our wonderful waiter. He was personable and very knowledgeable concerning the menu items. Will definitely plan on going back and asking for a table where he is serving.

We've dined at Villa Romana in the past, but our experience this past evening was excellent. We were graciously greeted and seated. Our server was very attentive. The decor and atmosphere is very appropriate for an Italian restaurant. And the strolling musician adds the finishing touch. But the highlight was the food. We started with a bruchetta appetizer, then soup... More

Not a horrible restaurant by any means, just not at all that memorable. My wife and I chose here as our first place to eat in Myrtle Beach and we were a bit disappointed. The restaurant had a fake feel to it and for such a small place, there seemed to be a waiter for every table. Cheesy decorations, you... More

My wife and I and another couple wanted to get together for dinner out. Our newspaper had a coupon for $32 a couple for anything on the entire menu at Villa Romana. What a great choice. We made reservations for 6:30 and we arrived at 6:40. The room was full and I thought we would have a long wait. The... More

We found this restaurant a year ago and promised ourselves to return every time we're in Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is authentically Italian with columns and statues decorating the dining areas. The chef is amazing and takes time to stroll among the tables, introducing himself and making sure we're satisfied with the food and service. He's got a crack staff... More

We found this restaurant over 5 years ago and since our son goes to school in SC, we find our way to Villa Romana every time we're in the area! This is good, solid Italian food. We have NEVER had a bad meal here. There is nice variety and something for everyone. My favorite is the lasagna, gnocci, oh, really... More

Our dining experience at Villa Romana tonight was wonderful. Mark took care of us, very professionally. Carol had the pasta al fredo with shrimp and I had shrimp wrapped in zucchini. Exquisite. Salad, bread and soup were included. We asked about lunch, wanting to return the next day, but they open at 4:30 and Mark said he was not working... More

We decided to go to Villa for a birthday dinner instead of our normal Italian restaurant and that was a big mistake. We were very disappointed in Villa Romana. Being a local I have eaten at Villa in the past and must say the food has gone down hill since them. From the presentation of the food to the taste,... More
