Went to eat here for the all you can eat crab legs. They were excellent. The rest of the buffet was not worth eating. The shrimp was overcooked and tasteless. Only go here if you want the crab legs.

My hubby and I went here and loved it! The crab legs were so good! I loved the hushpuppies too! It was like eating dessert! My only complaint was the layout of the restaurant. It was crowded and I hate places with stairs; it is like a disaster waiting to happen. I also did not like the pushy salepeople out... More

One of our relatives told us about this place and I can't believe all the years we have been coming down here, that we never came in until now! We were missing one of the best seafood buffets I have ever experienced! There were so many options that I never did try everything! It's impossible! You should walk around first... More

Beautiful decor of replica ships, and items that have come out of ships on display. Each dinning room has its own nautical theme. The food is fantastic all you can eat and they keep the food bars full. Very friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere. Reasonable price.

We came down to North Myrtle Beach for a brief gettaway and to have some good seafood. Original Benjamins was recommended several times so we decided to give it a shot. The crab legs and oysters were good as well as their peach cobbler, but that was about it. Everything was just average, The seafood was bland and cold. The... More

My husband and I had the seafood buffet at the Original Benjamin's on October 15. We arrived around 5:30PM and had a coupon for $4 off each buffet before 6PM. There was no wait, and the hostess took our coupon and walked us to our table. On the way, she gave us a mini "tour" of the restaurant and made... More

There are several seafood buffets to choose from in Myrtle Beach, including three named "Benjamin" Calabash Seafood, and although I cannot comment on the other two, this one IS the original, hence the name, and the reason we chose this one. As was explained to me later, "CALABASH" is a style of cooking, meaning breaded and fried! In addition to... More
