Do it for the crab.

For anyone that hasn't been to a calabash style seafood buffet these types of places charge an arm and a leg and give you access to ayce seafood. At $32 a person the only true way to get your money's worth is to eat mostly crab legs. I tore through over 5 pounds of them and left very happy. My... read more

Tons of seafood and other fare priced at the days Market Price which is served Buffet Style. Crabs seem to be the favorite in this location. The service was great and very accommodating. I just wish they would have a menu for light eaters. We chose scallops for grandpa but the portion was enormous. Actually two or three people with... More

This was our fourth visit, each year we celebrate my husbands birthday here with crab legs and hush puppies. This year was the worst experience with the amount of salt in the food being a major concern followed by everyone getting ill. Not sure if it was MSG or just poor cooking but it really ruined my husbands birthday. Aside... More

We stopped here just for my father in law (84). He ate crab legs for 45 minutes. The calabash style shrimp, oysters, scallops, clams, are usually overcooked. If you want quality food it's best to stop at a reputable restaurant. If you're here, ask for a table to watch the intercoastal waterway so you can see the boats of all... More

We've tried to get in here before, but it was too long of a wait, and we didn't know now much it was. They won't tell you until you are seated, but it's $32 per adult (13 and over) soft drinks are $2.79. Kids 12 and under as "just" $12.99 plus $2.79 for drinks. Pretty standard as buffets go, over... I've typically gone to The Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood for the experience and the food, especially the crab legs, however, the novelty has been worn off after my last trip and we doubt we will return. Please note that nothing was particularly BAD, but then again, nothing was particularly GOOD either. After a while, everything begins to taste the same... More

Went on a golf trip and the people we went with raved about this place all of the time. So we decided to give it a try. Food was so-so and they people we were with said it was not as good as they remembered. The best thing they had was the pasta station and the desserts. The rest of... More

Don't let the long lines scare you. It moves fast. There is a room for kids to play. Large groups have their own seating area's. The resturant itself has many different rooms to seat your party, so you are not just packed in one big open area. Many choices of seafood, pasta's and meats etc. Well stocked dessert bar with...
