Better than the rest

We walked through two other seafood buffets last night before deciding on Benjamin's and I'm happy to say we made a good choice. We had been here once before (many years ago) and were hoping to try something new, but the others didn't live up to what we had remembered. When we got to Benjamin's, we... read more

We do Myrtle Beach every August, usually with the whole family (12). Despite the expense, Benjamin's has always been a "must do". Last year we thought it had slipped a bit. This year was extreme disappointment. Most foods were fried. Aside from the salad, there were few choices for those who might want to avoid it. The biggest objection was... More

we have made 4 trips to myrtle beach over the past 15 years and sadly benjamins has fallen from our favorites list. this restaurant was a star at one time the exterior was picture perfect, the interior was like walking into a maritime museum with ship models, antiques all around, a feast for the eyes. this trip it was disheartening,... If you like seafood, look no further! We went with our family for a night to celebrate my sisters 40th anniversary. There is over a 150 + food selection and the seafood is fresh off of the boat. I am hard to impress but this is worth the money. We figured up the price of what we ate and they... More

Huge buffet with endless things to eat. The crab legs were excellent and the main reason for visiting. Much of the fried and other food is decent but salty or greasy. Either way the staff is great and the crab worth the visit. Inexpensive for kids as well.

The food is great, the service is great, I have no complaints! It's a little on the pricier side, but for the options of food items available its kind of worth it. It was our first time visiting and the waiter actually gave us a tour of the restaurant. Upon entering you are greeted by a pirate who handed us... More

After intensive research on Trip Advisor, I picked Original Benjamin's and we were not disappointed! The whole restaurant was clean (which is rare amongst seafood buffets) and the person who brought us to our table was extremely helpful. We got seated at our table and our waitress was taking our drink orders in seconds. We went up to the buffet... More

This is by far the best place in South Carolina to eat at if you are looking for crab legs. They are not the small blue crab they are snow crab legs. The best part is that it is all you can eat on the buffet and they replace them every 5-10 minutes because the line is huge. Make a... More

Food was very tasty and served hot. I only had some the seafood and the fried chicken, but my husband said the crab legs were good. Since I don't eat beef and pork, I can't comment. Initially, I thought the price was high, but for the variety and quality of food it was good deal. We truly enjoyed ourselves and... More
