Chef on duty to cook you a personal omelet. Also the seafood menu is outstanding. The morning wait staff is the best I have personally seen in all my travels.

Of first let me say I'm from Maryland and we know seafood! It's what Maryland is known for.. We went to Sea Captains house after asking a local for a restaurant recommendation for someplace that serves fresh local seafood. I got tilapia stuffed w/ crabmeat @ $27, the tilapia was a ok, pretty flavorless, the crabmeat for that price should...

My husband and I came here for breakfast one morning and enjoyed a table right near a window with a view of the ocean. I ordered blueberry pancakes while my husband got the breakfast buffet. The blueberry pancakes were very good and came before my husband got back from the buffet. The main issue with the buffet is that when...

I am a local, and finally took the time to try Sea Captain's out... goodness gracious, what a disappointing experience. The food was mediocre and incredibly overpriced, and the service was simply bad. I ordered the crab cakes, and when they came out, my jar visibly dropped due to how small they were for the price. I basically was served...

We were recommended to this restaurant by some friends. They were right on. The food was excellent. My sister-in-law doesn't really care for fish but ordered the pecan crusted grouper and raved about the dish. My wife had the same dish and agreed with her sister. The dinner was further enhanced by our waitress Abby L. (alias French Fry). French...

Loved the Hush Puppies - could have eaten another basket full myself! The Swordfish was grilled to perfection and the much anticipated cheezy grits were delicious. The Ocean View cant be beat - except for the "millers about" on the lawn interrupting your view and taking photo's.

e travel to Myrtle Beach at least 3 times a year and eat at Sea Captain's several times each trip. Of course, we enjoy the excellent food, but the staff really make the difference. Marie, Jackie, and Terry are servers without peer. They're friendly, efficient, and never fail to make customers feel welcome. I am always surprised when they...

Food is average, bland and very much catering to '30-'50 generation. Appys were avg. Crab dip had a crust on it, shrimp translucent and not cleaned properly. Restrictions on full menu options in bar area is dated. They are limiting their ability to accomodate with no reservation policy. Most if not all restaurants allow full menus in bar area. Take...

had a 45 minute wait on a Friday evening but didn't mind sitting outside watching the ocean. The food was excellent. The kids menu had crab cakes as a selection!
Nice place. Not cheap but food was fresh and nicely served in pleasant, relaxed setting. Good service, efficient and professional.
Very pleasant to sit on the glacé terrace overlooking the marsh/ocean view - at least in May. Not sure if it would be hot in summer.
My husband had shrimp and grits. Very lovely but I'd recommend getting appetizer size....
